Forgiving loans is actually great for the economy, it puts more money back into circulation to feed the free-market. Maybe the MAGA-morons should write their GOP congressional leaders asking them to raise the corporate loan rate ( which is insanely low and far lower than college loans), stop corporate welfare, and forcing companies to pay taxes that don't pay any at all. Then I would ask everyone to write their congressmen to stop the funding of war-planes that never fly and just collect dust in the desert.

Second of all this is why many pick stupid degrees they are not told to take their time to decide on a degree. My daughter and her boyfriend decided to work instead and buy a house that was more important than a college debt. Then I signed in one day and I had a zero balance and it said the Biden Harris administration has forgiven your student loan. I had no saying it. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. You know those who financed these student loans are going to have to make up for the amount forgiven in one way or the other. Like higher interest on new loans, etc. Pushing young people to go to four year Universities instead of trade schools, etc., was pushed by the Government. The Government needs to start serving the American people before it’s too late.

If I can give some financial advice, especially to young people. Please improve your financial literacy. When you are young you have more time to increase your net worth and improve your financial education. This will lessen the financial burden you and your family might have. No matter where you start from. I see a lot of older Americans who HAVE to work and it breaks my heart. The financial education and execution of those principles will help you navigate the economy better no matter who is in the WH. Use the tools available in todays world. Stay safe
