I never clicked so fast on a notification...the emo anthem!!! MCR is amazing. Takes me way back to college in the early 2000s. I remember seeing them live at a bar in NJ in front of like 10 people then seeing them years later at Terminal 5 in NYC in front of 10,000. We all almost brought the balcony down!

This song doesn’t age, it’s a magical experience every time you listen to it lol
The Black Parade is a rock opera centering around the character of "The Patient". It is about his passage out of life and the memories he has of it. "The Patient" dies and death comes for him in the form of a parade. This is based on singer Gerard Way's notion of death appearing to a person in the form of their fondest memory, in this case seeing a marching band as a child.

I FINALLY got to see them perform this live last year when they finally got to do their reunion tour after being postponed twice due to the 'vid. (They only came to my state for their 3 Cheers album in like 2005/2006, and did not return until 2022) Wow... I also now feel old xD

Also, if you didn't know (as I see you did "Cancer" later on) that the whole Black Parade album was a concept album centered around "The Patient" who is dying from cancer and his journey through life, pain, death, etc

NO that song came out in like 2006! I had just moved from Cali to Oregon when this came out. Very fondly remember driving through the rugged mountains of oregon and this came on the radio. I was like who the eff is this?

It came out in 2006. Anytime you see something uploaded to youtube in 2009, be wary because a lot of music videos that existed before youtube were uploaded in 2009. I'd google it to know for sure.
