Spot on. There are so many American Christians that believe in a political Jesus. Until the last election, I was one of them. Through Redeemer, the American Gospel documentary, and a few other resources, I've woken up to that, and see so clearly how the American churches is missing the mark when it comes to our mission and casting judgement. We miss the mark so easily when we get invested in the affairs of men.
