This is excellent. However, also listen to 15-year-old Angelina Jordan perform this song. Soulful and beautiful. She makes it her own, and I think it's one of the best versions I've ever heard.

From the runs, to the amazing tones, to the harmonies, literal perfection. Also, when Pia does certain runs or little riffs, she really favors Celine Dion to me!💯🔥 Insane vocals!
That's cause she loves her some Celine. She is one of the few women I've heard attempt to imitate Celine -- rather than Whitney or Mariah.

It’s hard watching someone sing a Whitney verse because Whitney’s voice just had a special something to it. She really knew how to bring out that soul in her voice when she needed to.

When listening to other versions such as this, you really appreciate how great the original artists are. The power in Whitney's voice and the purity and effortless range in Mariah's voice cannot be duplicated. These two did a great job though.

This is beautiful. One of the things that stood out to me is just how tastefully executed this cover is. Many artists have covered this duet which is a huge challenge in itself but to keep it tasteful is another huge challenge all together.
Some versions are great but many tend to either oversing and fail to put across to the listener the connection and emotion of this track.
Quickly experience vocal fatigue just before or during the bridge due to many factors of bad technique that a song like this will expose as it gets more challenging from start to finish.
Try to replicate Whitney and Mariah without actually being Whitney or Mariah.
Breaks out into some ego battle for the spotlight without actually LISTENING to each other.
And the list goes on..
IMO, this is the only cover of When You Believe I have experienced so far that does the original any justice with both artist shining individually and vocally blending beautifully with respect for each other, the song/lyrics and demonstrate great musicianship all things considered (mentioned above).
This was a pleasant surprise!
Today is the 1st time ever hearing this singer (w/ Pia in this video.) and she’s a 👍 vocalist imo too! The combo of both their voices complemented each other and made for a great duet! I’ve watched Pia perform many times w/ David Foster, and who has never once disappointed me in any of his concerts w/ anyone (Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, etc.) - always a great accompanist on the piano 🎹! BTW: I’m almost 70 and ❤ all genres of music - from classic rock to opera, and everything in between.

It wasn't perfect. There we're a few notes that were off. Some that weren't sung with enough power. Some runs that weren't sung all the way through, but I can see they trying to sing it as close to the original as possible. Also, I know Pia Tuscano as a singer, but I have never heard of the other woman. They could be a nice duo.
