I've had many IH Cub Cadets through my younger years. The originals & Quiet Line 1000 series models are my favorite. Only have one left now. It's an original. My other Cub Cadet is the "new" one. It's a 3225 & it's hard to believe it will be 23 years old next Spring. When it was new, CC was celebrating its 40th anniversary. The brochure at the time showed the original & one of the new 3000 series together. I replicated that photo in my front yard the day the new one arrived. One of my fondest memories of being a CC owner. The worst was owning my grandparents CC 1610. That thing was a lemon from day one. It lasted 7 years before it caught fire. My grandpa wished he never traded his Bolen's Husky to get that thing. Hope you had a great Christmas. Regards!
I was watching yours 'cause I got a model 109 too; I gotta figure out how these points work and re-rig the electrical system. Seems like mice really like the insulation IH used, because mine won't fire either! "It's an observation, not a complaint." 😄 I'm gonna keep that one.
I bet when You get spark, she will fire right up! that is one thing that I like about air cooled engine you do not have to worry about the block cracking with water or bad coolant in it if turns over your usually good to go,other than maybe a carb. check. My brother has 3 I H Cub Cadets he seem to really like them. Good luck with it, & thanks for the video.
Hello good video enjoyed it. Advanced efforts some are necessary. Since the wire was off I figured it may have a spark issue. Dont you just love how the mice can renovate things to make a new home for themselves. Maybe they have renovated the wiring a little also. Oh it's always that way cut the lock and then find the key. Maybe some moisture caused some rust on a connection or a mouse chewed a wire- its always something!
