Thanks Mate, the sad truth is that no one has a clue, we all react to what happens as it happens and try to analyse it but can’t predict an iota of what is going to unfold in the markets… content creators are like amplifiers, when times are good they affirm it and try to tell you why it’s good and that it’s looking bullish but then all of a sudden the market turns bearish and everyone affirms it again and try to analyse why… it’s so sad that many are so powerless and it's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 9Bitcoin in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Whitney Eston, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.
The last idea of how the world gets divided in a bifurcated system was very interesting. I don't see how that happens though, because it would imply a withdrawal of China from its major trading partner, the US, I would assume. Perhaps with the passage of time.

Tell me you don’t know about China without telling me you don’t know about China... I don’t know why Bankless keeps doing these episodes (at least not without a counter perspective). China will be lucky to make it, in its current state, for another decade. You can’t beat math/numbers, and they just don’t have the population numbers to keep going as they are now (see one child policy and a current minute birth rate that created worse demographic numbers than anyone thought possible). Add in things like extreme malinvestment, a lack of consumer economy (they depend almost entirely on exports in a deglobalizing world with a population that can’t afford what they produce), a complete dependence on the rest of the world for food and energy (once again in a deglobalizing world), rising wage costs vs the rest of the world (losing their place in that regard), and several interrelated domestic economic bubbles. They will be lucky to both keep the current governing system intact and to be able to feed everyone and provide enough energy for them. That doesn’t mean they will not try and take Taiwan before their swansong though; it just means they are not going to be the reserve currency of anything (see above + their insane capital controls that no one, foreign or domestic, trusts) or a global power to be reckoned with.

The US, Canada, Mexico alliance is going to have to onboard all the production lost in China. That will result in substantial inflation as the amount of "stuff" we get from them astounding. *not to mention the humanitarian crisis that is about to happen there (so terrible for both my "pocketbook" and "heart")

So there isn't much point on my end. You can try posting a bunch of links here and see what happens. The numbers are VERY easy to find though through a quick search; examples: -How much they overstated their own population (via their own government agencies that usually exaggerate things in their favor) -Birthrate by country -Malinvestment, to be fair, does take some more work as that involves looking into the ghost cities and projects that were spending just for growth numbers (vs spending on projects that create an actual return/ROI) -Articles on their bubbles are easy to find and have been headline news for years -Food and energy imports are also easy to find (and will dwindle as we deglobalize and all go into our respective shells/corners) -The number of times this has already happened in China (how many times it has crumbled) as it is a country made up very different locations and people -Rising wage costs (they used to be a world leader; this was their super power) vs other Asian countries and India is also easy to find -Articles on their insane capital controls (also mentioned in this episode here) are also easy to find...along with the lengths their people go to get money out and into better, safer investments vs their limited, domestic options The shortest, easiest things, though, are population and food and energy...the main things that will destroy any country and can't be overcome. As I said, I don't want this to happen. Is is not cope; it means my current quality of life will suffer, my eventual/hopeful retirement will be more difficult, etc. This does not even factor in a crisis that will make what is currently happening in the world look like a day at the park...so no part of me "wishes" this. It is just what is. Time has run out on the population issue as we can can't clone working adults.

You can’t beat math/numbers, and they just don’t have the population numbers to keep going as they are now (see one child policy and a current minute birth rate that created worse demographic numbers than anyone thought possible). Add in things like extreme malinvestment, a lack of consumer economy (they depend almost entirely on exports in a deglobalizing world with a population that can’t afford what they produce), a complete dependence on the rest of the world for food and energy (once again in a deglobalizing world), rising wage costs vs the rest of the world (losing their place in that regard), and several interrelated domestic economic bubbles.
They will be lucky to both keep the current governing system intact and to be able to feed everyone and provide enough energy for them. As I said, I don't want this to happen.
