    Grosses me out people keep focusing on her so called "sexy" voice or the quality of it, in the comments on all these videos. Falling into the trap of objectifying her because her voice type. I can see why he chose her as his long term victim.

      I don't know why that would gross you out. People are commenting on her voice because it's nice. Not because it solved the case or anything. Plus she's articulate and has been very nice and cooperative, and honest the entire time. Still don't know why anyone would be grossed out by that.

      She has a voice. It is sexy. This is a simple, obvious fact, at least amongst folks who find females attractive. Hearing a voice and forming an opinion on its relative sexiness says nothing about anyone's propensity to dehumanize or objectify anyone, using sexy as an adjective when describing someone's voice isn't any different than other adjectives like calming, irritating, shrill, relaxing, etc...

      I knew a guy that ran a sports bar here in Indy about 25 years ago and his 2 daughters were waitresses. Louks was their name. Anyway the youngest daughter was babysitting for a guy named Joe Nowicki and disappeared. He'd been in prison and they raided his house and got him on gun charges so he got sent back and died in prison. Never found the girl and her Dad ODd just s few years later. Weirdest thing is Nowicki got a heart transplant in prison and used it to kill people. They think he killed atleast 2 other people

    Also. In the TCBS podcast, we were led to believe the panties and pregnancy test were related to I.K. , when they in fact had nothing to do with him - that was Kim’s stuff and the test was bc she was trying to be discreet about seeing someone else. I got a really icky feeling with this realization. Like really disrespectful to present the information in a podcast like these items could belong to victims and then leave it like a cliffhanger, only to find out this piece of info is really none of our business. So disappointing.

    • @srl7997
      @srl7997 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The release of these interviews has been relatively recent, even for TCBS. Prior, that would have been the thought. Most likely, they had a list of things found at the house. Without context, a bag full of panties and maxi pads might seem like a big deal.
      They've discussed and even somewhat apologized on the podcast that some things they thought were big turned out to be nothing. And sometimes cliffhangers have been left unresolved due to this.
      All the armchair investigating is silly. Imagine if cops released every detail of an investigation as they learned it in real-time, rather than the usual, "open investigation.. cannot comment..." etc. That's essentially what the podcast is doing.

      It’s not her fault. They took advantage of her naivety, and confiscated everything she owns, and left her homeless and without access to money for weeks on end. They also treated her like a suspect, when she clearly knew nothing.

    • @nancifyme
      @nancifyme หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Did you watch the first video? She voluntarily spoke with detectives, and they implicated her using deception, and treated her terribly despite the fact that she was fully cooperating. They took her phone without a warrant and left her without money, clothes, a means of communication, or a place to go because she couldn’t return to her home. She was pleading with them that she had to call into her job to tell them she would not be in, and they basically didn’t care. After that experience, she spoke with professionals who informed her that the police treatment of her was not appropriate.
      So I am impressed that she came back for this second interview and fully cooperated again, especially after they trashed her house, including scattering her used feminine products all over her garage. But this time, she level-set from the beginning that she would not allow them to mistreat her again. Good for her!
