I typed in autism potty training and your potty training video came up it was like a couple videos down! That was back when you had 5k subs. Then I came across Autism Family! My son is three and is diagnosed with autism and your videos are a great help to us. Thank you for posting your videos with suggestions and ideas for others who may be dealing with the same issues.
Congratulations on 10K Subscribers, Maases! I love how your family is accepting of the challenge with positivity. That's just what I was looking for when I found you at less than 2K subscribers just a few months ago. Back then I had to do a search to see if there were other autism fathers with low functioning adolescents and there you all were, spreading the joy with humor and tolerance. There are a lot of us out there who are hot messes riding the rollercoaster known as the seven stages of grief (even after 10 years like us) but instead of complaining that life handed you lemons you made lemonade and showed us that life can go on. But the first video I saw was you first day of school video. I think you just got in the TH-cam algorithm, some people just explode because TH-cam puts them on tons of recommend pages. I’m seeing lots of channels like that recently.
I have been subscribed for about a month! I am 28yr old single female! I am a respite worker and am currently going to school to become a teacher!! My son had his diagnosis in Dec of 14, but in my case, i was totally blindsided by his diagnosis! I was uneducated and didn't know much about it. You guys have totally changed the dynamic of how i approach things with school, home, ESPECIALLY with transitions. And i apply what I've learned with ALL of my kids and things are so much smoother! I subscribed about 3 minutes into that video about a month ago and i now watch literally every night! It's my own bedtime therapy for myself. Lol

I found your channel when my brother moved in with us. He is very much like your lovely daughter. He is nonverbal and low functioning. He is actually my cousin and after his parents passed my parents decided to bring him and his older brother to our home in Chicago. They lived in England at the time. But it was important that they have a better environment to grow and live with people who adore them. I even stopped calling them my cousins and only like to refer to them as my younger brothers. Abi, is the one with autism. It was difficult to understand autism at first. My dad and I are both in the healthcare field and were able to look up journals to explain his behaviors. We tried to implement various routines to help Abi as much as we could. I came across your sensory board video when I was trying to think of activities for Abi. He loved it. I love watching your videos and sharing information with my family. We are looking into setting up a sensory room for Abi. We are so thankful for the vlogs and videos. I was an only child and all this happened when I turned 21. It was a difficult transition for everyone including the kiddos. But with the help from your videos we were able to learn and understand so much more.

I very much enjoy watching Miss Abbie throughout your videos. I don't know, your talk tonight at the end. I guess I really needed to hear those words said out loud. I myself have been struggling w/ the anger of my son. The holes in the walls, screaming. For so long they have been focused on just the behavior and not an actual diagnosis of anything. I have an interest in Autism as my daughter had 2 children diagnosed in highschool and my son's little girl was diagnosed when she was 21 /2 and went into an early intervention programme for pre-schoolers. Oops i forgot to answer asa's question: i came across your awesome channel when i did a search on specifically girl's diagnosed with autism. My baby girl sophie is my one and only.. And i hope with time and perseverance, I'll be a great parent to her.
I found your channel when my brother moved in with us. He is very much like your lovely daughter. He is nonverbal and low functioning. He is actually my cousin and after his parents passed my parents decided to bring him and his older brother to our home in Chicago. They lived in England at the time. But it was important that they have a better environment to grow and live with people who adore them. I even stopped calling them my cousins and only like to refer to them as my younger brothers. Abi, is the one with autism. It was difficult to understand autism at first. My dad and I are both in the healthcare field and were able to look up journals to explain his behaviors. We tried to implement various routines to help Abi as much as we could. I came across your sensory board video when I was trying to think of activities for Abi. He loved it. I love watching your videos and sharing information with my family. We are looking into setting up a sensory room for Abi. We are so thankful for the vlogs and videos. I was an only child and all this happened when I turned 21. It was a difficult transition for everyone including the kiddos. But with the help from your videos we were able to learn and understand so much more.

I came across your video because I see more and more about autism, I was curious. Well you videos are more than about autism. You family is an inspiration to difficulties in life. People may not be affected directly by autism but everyone has sooner or later difficulties just the same. And, Abby is a sweet girl.

I will say I work in school administration in middle school- and you two are diamonds in the rough, let me tell you that. My Abby's bestest friend was diagnosed with autism this year. So happy that his parents/and himself finally got the diagnosis for he went through too many years being misunderstood. Better late than never I guess.

I very much enjoy watching Miss Abbie throughout your videos. I don't know, your talk tonight at the end. I guess I really needed to hear those words said out loud. I myself have been struggling w/ the anger of my son. The holes in the walls, screaming. For so long they have been focused on just the behavior and not an actual diagnosis of anything. Finally we have a referral to get ASD testing. Long road ahead, but as always thank you for your videos. :)
