Fantastic video! I got into airbrushing less than 2 months ago and enjoyed the cheap brush that came with the little battery compressor. I got the .3 and loved it. So I ordered the .2 and it feels like it is capable of more than I can do currently.
I was going to say the same as you did about the thinner paints bringing the brush alive, it's given all of them a new lease of life so maybe you will enjoy using them more especially the ones that sit in your cabinet not being used🤔🧐👍
Running lower pressure is like cleaning your brush properly and correctly thinning your paint. It's part of the trifecta of main reasons most people hit trouble airbrushing, because they aren't doing one or more of those 3.
Got the 03 mobius off a close friend had a doddle with it and it painted ok that was at 20psi now I've seen what it can do at lower pressure its impressive for the price thanks mukka great vid 😊😊😊😊
You have a Sparmax in your collection? I've been working with a SP-35F. At low pressure with thin paint, I really like it. Thought about getting a Mobius for my collection. Seems to be a decent budget brush. Much like you, I spend years airbrushing at 20 psi 'cuz that's the way I learned. Dropping the pressure to 8 to 10 psi seems insane, yet now that I'm older, I do more artwork (retired now) on canvas or bristol.
I got both mobius 0.2 and 0.3 and the 0.2 works good but it always seems like if you don’t use it for awhile then the nozzle will let bubbles in your cup until the white O ring get wet and swells and makes the seal tight in the mixing chamber
Tx Rob for the performance series of airbrushes using the thin mix of paint. You are using this thin mix together with very absorbent paper . I would like to see you using less absorbent materials like, gesso'd paper, Alu-panels etc. or is that out of the question ?
Really enjoying these brush test videos 👌 after watching your channel for a while I’ve now adopted a similar style of painting and totally agree with low pressure and correctly thinned paints I’ve learned so much from your videos thank you mate 👌
I just bought the .2 and it was struggling with createx illustration but can't wait to to try inks reduced at your ratio, I'm really happy that you introduced me to inks, thank you Rob love your content you're a boss buddy.
These demos are gold! Been taking your approach on thinner paints/ink reduction with lower air on all my personal airbrushes and wow, a few brushes I didn’t feel comfortable with are now responding beautifully! Thanks for all that you share. Appreciated sincerely🙏
Nice demo. I love my Mobius 0.2. Once you get it dialed in, it'll bang out detail as well as anything.
Nice video, like always Dred Fx . You share a lot of experience and knowledge. Thanks to you I have learned a lot from your videos.
@@MrEszyling thank you really appreciate that 👍

They both seem very close as far as thin paint is concerned. Thank You.

Nice video! The bigger the surface, the bigger the nozzle? Is this correct?
@@bobwil9903 yes and the thicker the paint the bigger the nozzle
