I don’t agree. The end game players got their damage nerfed. But mid and early players got locked out of rewards and Hydra difficulty levels. I will easily be able to win one key nightmare still, but many players got smacked back to hard or normal

Scratch, I killed all four heads at one time but they all spawned one at at time, literally a second apart ending up with every head having the buff...so 100% damage reduction on all four at the same time. :( This affects everything! Can't place debuffs that require crit hits, can't get your champs out if they were eaten, etc. This is so easy to adjust...simply put only 1 or 2 heads should have this buff at one time. Its incredibly stupid how they implemented this.
I ran them all. Trunda with double emic was 1.59 Billion on hard. 203 million now. My total last time was 3.78 Billion. Now 1.17 Billion. The taunt nerf annoys me the most. Also targeting is horrible. 3 decapitated heads. Fear had block damage. They all targeted the fear head. If they allowed only 1 back damage buff to be up at once, that would be much better.

Went through a similar thing with Blizzard and WoW during Battle for Azeroth and Shadowlands and vowed to never be a slave to a game ever again with extremely scummy business practices and 0 respect for the gamer. the 100% damage reduction sucks. I have a few times where all 4 heads were down in brutal. the heads spawned sequentially, but not at the same time and i had 4 heads where i couldn't do damage i did 397m (was 600-640m) with graazure, thor, yncensa, shamael, maulie and uugo. yncensa kept giving thor extra turns. graazur provoke and enemy max HP, the rest standard.
It's actually hilarious how Plarium is actually acting about these changes. While everyone is complaining, they're just counting their money they got from the Krakens.

I took about a 20% loss on damage on an account that couldn't quite hit the top chest - getting far enough behind that I can't see getting there in the near future. For the high end players, they're still going to be hitting 1.2B/week, even if they get a bigger percentage hit, so the ACTUAL effect is nil. On top of that, no chance of a Wixwell team (which I probably could have built). I don't even consider myself 'mid-game', but rather late game: I can face most content, although I cannot complete everything.

As a mid game player only getting around 200 mill on NM, with Wallmaster, my team was able to do about the same now as before. However, my hard and brutal teams are struggling.
You're completely wrong about the effect on mid-game players. My damage is less than half of what it was. All the mechanic changes have a cumulative effect on damage. Once the devour time hits two turns, it rapidly becomes nearly impossible to free your champ if you don't have enough dps. The first devour, yes, the second, maybe, the third... Not a chance. All-in-all, hydra has become far less accessible for mid-game players. That means our weekly hydra rewards are drastically cut from what they were previously.
Hey scratch you must also mention that GismK A1 from his second form is useless now. It’s doesn’t prok the Aoe to the decapitated heads because of the life barriers.
nice video. i tested my good ol' RG back in reflex + merciless and he did a good job. A champ that was usefull for me if you have alot of dmg is akentum. he became mvp for me with mikage spreading blockbuffs, defdown and weaken with a1 faster than uugo coul cycle his skills so he is a backup - everything?. overall i lost 80% of my clash scores but what annoys me the most is the fast respawns and all the 0 dmg hits. hope they either remove the hp bar or increase it 3-4 times

My fenax now destroys dead heads so fast and they sometimes come back to life instantly especially on normal. From auto 450-600m now my team barely does 220-250m on manual. It sucks
Its not like the 100% dmg reduction is the major problem, atleast not for me. Its the constant respawning of heads that is the issue, the heads "outrun" my teams cooldowns and it becomes a problem, they start getting up poison clouds and so on. They should have just removed the health from the decapitated heads and alot of the annoyance right now will be removed for the time beeing. Speaking on Wixwell & Trunda, a wixwell trunda team that has done 1.5 billion has been made again allready so its not like they fixed anything anyway. So as I've said earlier, this didnt affect anyone except the players who didnt have Wixwell & Trunda. Hats off to Plarium for yet another useless patch

My Marius Team on nightmare works better than before.(200M before, now 300M) I dont think the changes are that bad. I like the damagegap between the clans are closed now.
Soo, i am weak ok. I did a cheeky team with hound master or whatever was his name orc and hellhound, I did 200 mln dmg on normal, now I am dying before 20 mln dmg is done... Still got a max chest, but it completely ruined my team for brutal, where I was just getting those 30 mln dmg needed to get a chest. I will have to redo my best team as I just don't deal enough dmg

with plarium you can never be sure of anything.. they pissed us off so many times with champs that they ruined and that people invested οn.. players were punished harshly and through no fault of their own.. if they can't support what they bring in the game and make all the players feel unsafe every time then they have to close the company and go home...we are wasting our time and money (not mine)....my dmg was 70-100m im f2p and managed to make 3 decent teams for each dificaulty if now cant do 20-30 (same for all members) mean we must do what?to invest on other champs and tomorow they will get nerf too?..alrdy 6 players quit and others thinking to leave clan for higher clan but as im asking around except whales/spenders clan all the others has same problem...anyway im seeking for new game but im sure after some time the resaults will be the same..

Hey someone with a brain 😱 Keep on rockin in the free world 😎 I still use my nekmo for decrease speed-for example as soon as i start a fight! Or as soon as heads can be damaged 🤔 or to slow decay ao he doesnt put up poison cloud before my block debuff comes up or i have other heads to damage-1-2 ive killed in the mean time
Most people are trying to auto battle and decreased speed is much less desirable now that the decapitated heads having limited hp and coming back with block damage. Sure it's still a good debuff to blget back to your skills but it's also more turns doing 0 damage.
Hydra was my Favorite content and after the changes I dont want to play Hydra anymore. I went from 3B Hydra Points down to 450M Points. I would say its not about I dont have dmg or Speed I get multiple champs over 320 Speed up to 390 and 8k+ ATK with 330KDMG+ on Multiple in Savage/Lethal/Merciless. I dont have any Max HP Champs beside Royal and Husk. It just feels like they fcked many players. In my opinion the better way they could have fixed the Trunda issue would have been to nerf Yumeko reset and lower Trunda dmg by 30%. Then get Champs like Kardaver back that strong and make more Champs broken to reach Trunda dmg. Make Poison and LP Burn Bomb more effectiv on Hydra. Maybe also for the biggest Clans they could do a UNM Hydra with 8x Points and make Blessing doesnt work at it so they are not perma Shotting heads there. But after that chages I dont like to play the 3 Hours of Hydra anymore each week

This affects only mid-late game players. If they kept the same threshold at least slightly buff the chest rewards. Doesn't affect trunda teams when they do billions still. @sawyerslack9782 well let's put it this way, my personal best on NM hydra was 56 million pre nerf. This week I managed to get 52 million after nerf. For me it's balanced the game out just a touch fairer. Yeah trunda still hits but so can most champs built at a good level. But I was claiming a couple chests a week from personal milestones, others were collecting 90+ chests worth of points, the gear balance alone made them stronger and everyone else weaker, it completely screwed the game and the balance of every pvp area in the game. I feel all the updates with the extra dungeons have given them a reason to hike the milestone goals in tourneys and events, perfectly fair. Along with changing how the hydra works, I just wish they did it alongside 2 new heads as they mentioned when hydra was first released, they would be rebalanced and adding more heads. Look we all have our opinions, some are greatful to have a game I'm happy to play every day for over 4 years, I've never had that from any other game, franchise yes but single game no. I'm happy it changes, I'm happy it all does. We can complain, or we can accept and enjoy it for the fun of playing and watching people complain. It was fun for awhile but it has become over the last year, every comment in every video, is either a copy paste, or the most opinionated topic at that point, hence the pathetic need for likes. I guarantee you go into any video and people will still be talking about a way plarium could add farming books to the game, like cmon, they won't, stop saying it ugh. It's been years now. Love how they introduced Thor with an AOE slow on his A3 when this was planned and made it so you now need to avoid using his A3 because slow is detrimental to hydra. It's almost like Plarium doesn't understand how their own game works outside the gambling aspect which is all they really care about.

They kill my wixwell team for the demon lord, i used to do 390m to 420m damage and now i only do 80m to 120m.. literally nerf my whole clan.

Using turvold in the same team as razel and hes loss was from 650 mil to 320 mil.

All they had to do is cap shield and fix trunda :D They just left same thing but made lower bar :D (except destroying shields fully and taunt)

My Marius Team on nightmare works better than before.(200M before, now 300M) I dont think the changes are that bad. I like the damagegap between the clans are closed now.

Soo, i am weak ok. I did a cheeky team with hound master or whatever was his name orc and hellhound, I did 200 mln dmg on normal, now I am dying before 20 mln dmg is done... Still got a max chest, but it completely ruined my team for brutal, where I was just getting those 30 mln dmg needed to get a chest. I will have to redo my best team as I just don't deal enough dmg
I want to know who tf they think they are taking peoples money billions of dollars people spent trying to get these champions not even just trunda let’s talk eostrid she gets nerfed because decrease speed isn’t even a point anymore. Like everyone’s champions they bought shards for they spent money to do fusions for all got nerfed because they couldn’t fix trunda so they f all of us. Why can’t they just fix trunda delete her a2 take her out of the game until you can fix it idk but to change the entire mechanic after we spent years building our teams and competing in events to get these champions and souls just for them to change everything when dungeons have done the exact same thing since the game started like wtf. And don’t even get me started on siege game mode is a disaster. In 2 sieges when we get the void our clan will never participate again because what’s the point? Feral? lol feral is a trash set

5xhit enemy maxhp seems unlikely even with plarium competence levels. Gnut is already making any potential dungeons a joke.
with plarium you can never be sure of anything.. they pissed us off so many times with champs that they ruined and that people invested οn.. players were punished harshly and through no fault of their own.. if they can't support what they bring in the game and make all the players feel unsafe every time then they have to close the company and go home...we are wasting our time and money (not mine)....my dmg was 70-100m im f2p and managed to make 3 decent teams for each dificaulty if now cant do 20-30 (same for all members) mean we must do what?to invest on other champs and tomorow they will get nerf too?..alrdy 6 players quit and others thinking to leave clan for higher clan but as im asking around except whales/spenders clan all the others has same problem...anyway im seeking for new game but im sure after some time the resaults will be the same..

Hydra is just tough and requires strong champions who are good at Hydra. Here are your budget champs: uggo, husk, Royal guard. That's about it.

@B______L I have several "strong Champs, but I get sick of seeing endless videos about Trunda, Marion, and Gnut and how their an easy way to "hack the game". Going all in on two Champs and spending hours of time earning an end game champ is not an easy way to beat Hydra. I still use my nekmo for decrease speed-for example as soon as i start a fight! Or as soon as heads can be damaged 🤔 or to slow decay ao he doesnt put up poison cloud before my block debuff comes up or i have other heads to damage-1-2 ive killed in the mean time
Most people are trying to auto battle and decreased speed is much less desirable now that the decapitated heads having limited hp and coming back with block damage. Sure it's still a good debuff to blget back to your skills but it's also more turns doing 0 damage.
The changes are absolutely garbage
Hydra was my Favorite content and after the changes I dont want to play Hydra anymore. I went from 3B Hydra Points down to 450M Points. I would say its not about I dont have dmg or Speed I get multiple champs over 320 Speed up to 390 and 8k+ ATK with 330KDMG+ on Multiple in Savage/Lethal/Merciless. I dont have any Max HP Champs beside Royal and Husk. It just feels like they fcked many players. In my opinion the better way they could have fixed the Trunda issue would have been to nerf Yumeko reset and lower Trunda dmg by 30%. Then get Champs like Kardaver back that strong and make more Champs broken to reach Trunda dmg. Make Poison and LP Burn Bomb more effectiv on Hydra. Maybe also for the biggest Clans they could do a UNM Hydra with 8x Points and make Blessing doesnt work at it so they are not perma Shotting heads there. But after that chages I dont like to play the 3 Hours of Hydra anymore each week
I actually love the hydra change. Everybody is on an even playing lvl. No more weaklings outdamaging me with a Wixwell team. Two thumbs and toes way up for the new change! Gj Plarium
We are the anomalies on this, but I am 100% with you. They leveled the playing field, and not many people see that. Yeah it needs some tweaks but overall these changes are great for the longevity of hydra, and the game. And I'm an end game player saying this.

Trunda is still way too strong compared to every other champ.
While the Wixwell nerf is way too much.
Taunt now has no meta use in any content.
Why buff hydra and not lower chest threshold. This affects only mid-late game players. If they kept the same threshold at least slightly buff the chest rewards. Doesn't affect trunda teams when they do billions still.
If everyone's damage is 50% less then many clans won't be able to kill the hydra to get x2 rewards. Doesn't effect trunda teams when they do billions still.
Like you said it took them 2 years to do anything about it and still never bothered to actually play test their crappy update. Because if they did they would realized nothing was really fixed.

@sawyerslack9782 well let's put it this way, my personal best on NM hydra was 56 million pre nerf.
This week I managed to get 52 million after nerf.
For me it's balanced the game out just a touch fairer. Yeah trunda still hits but so can most champs built at a good level.
But I was claiming a couple chests a week from personal milestones, others were collecting 90+ chests worth of points, the gear balance alone made them stronger and everyone else weaker, it completely screwed the game and the balance of every pvp area in the game.
I feel all the updates with the extra dungeons have given them a reason to hike the milestone goals in tourneys and events, perfectly fair. Along with changing how the hydra works, I just wish they did it alongside 2 new heads as they mentioned when hydra was first released, they would be rebalanced and adding more heads.
Look we all have our opinions, some are greatful to have a game I'm happy to play every day for over 4 years,
I've never had that from any other game, franchise yes but single game no.
I'm happy it changes, I'm happy it all does.
We can complain, or we can accept and enjoy it for the fun of playing and watching people complain.
It was fun for awhile but it has become over the last year, every comment in every video, is either a copy paste, or the most opinionated topic at that point, hence the pathetic need for likes.
I guarantee you go into any video and people will still be talking about a way plarium could add farming books to the game, like cmon, they won't, stop saying it ugh. It's been years now. Get over it.

Love how they introduced Thor with an AOE slow on his A3 when this was planned and made it so you now need to avoid using his A3 because slow is detrimental to hydra. It's almost like Plarium doesn't understand how their own game works outside the gambling aspect which is all they really care about.
