^_^ Great breakdown! Always enjoy watching!
For the Avatar of Air decks, the less talked about changes from previous AoA decks that came in 2nd that stand out to me are:
- Cloud Spirit. Most opponents not used to facing this minion get caught off guard by +2 move Airborne. Only 2 power, but, you can basically keep it on the back row until you strike with it.
- Plumed Pegasus instead of the Phantasmal Shade. This one make so much sense. Seems much more consistent to have a minion that doesn't die to anything touching it, and it stays on the board after hitting. Better to have a 3 power on the table after dealing 3 than to deal 1 more damage and no threats left.
Also, I used to write off Headless Haunt, but when analyzing the board, HH can attack Much more often than people notice, and it landing in the void ensures the opponent can't usually kill it, so it can be an unpredictable threat in coming turns. This means they may choose to hold onto a kill spell for when they can target it, maybe doing them less good in the long term.
Thanks for the video! Always look forward to your deck breakdowns!
