- Hey Guys! Here's a quick styling video on one of my favorite hair styles, I love this style especially when Im on the go, just unbraid and go literally. You can you use this method with just about any hair texture, thats why i don't mind buying straight hair textures because i can always get that full curly look whenever with a braid out!
Here's what you'll need:
-A spray bottle with 90% water and a small amount of your favorite moisturizing conditioner ( i used treseme curl hydration conditioner)
light weight mousse nothing that will make your hair too hard ( i used olive oil wrap set mousse)
holding spray ( i used aqua net, spray lightly)
(optional) weave aid lite oil free hair polisher to tame the frizz
For optimal results make sure your hair is damp to moist (almost towel dried wet if that makes sense lol) before braiding and and completely dry before unbraiding. In the video my hair is still a bit curly from a 2 day old braid out, otherwise it would be almost straight with a slight wave, still rocking my new star brazilian bodywave only difference a change in color ;) and yes this is a sew-in with a minimal leave out!

thank you hun :)! and yes i did, darkened my hair to a light brown then put a burgundy red rinse, its like a black cherry color now, you can see the color more in the light

Good luck! Just make sure it's completely dry before you unbraid n put a lil bit of argan oil in your hands before you unbraid :)

If ya brush it out, it's just goin to look like a poof ball lol if u like big hair then go ahead, if not rub a lil argan oil in your hands before you unbraid so the curls can still be define, just finger comb :) no brushing out unless you lookin for big poofy hair lol

Hey, I used a very very small amount of treseme curl hydration conditioner, any moisturizing conditioner will do :)

Of course it will :) try the 3 strand regular cornrow braid if your not comfortable with French braiding, same if not better results

how do you take care of your hair? and what is the nightly procedure?
For this style I'd recommend to braid it every night before bed because the curls just get tighter and more defined, if you just tie your hair with out braiding the curls drop and the hair just gets bigger and fluffy lol

Will this work if I did them in plats instead of going down the side , cause I don't know how to scalp braid 😰
Darn :/ Yea it would still give you a wave but it wouldn't be as tight and the waves would be more towards the ends. Try getting someone to braid it for you,If not practice makes perfect!

Hey, yes should work on any texture hair as long as you dampen the hair before braiding and let it completely dry before unbraiding :)

Please answer this, so I just bought my unprocessed virgin Brazilian in straight, if I follow this process how long will the curls last? Cause I love curly hair and the boiling method is really fustrating me: /
It should last about 2-3 days otherwise it just gets bigger n bigger lol if you don't braid it up at night but to keep the curls defined I suggest braiding it daily before bed

hey @marcus jones I'm 5'6 and i have 22,24, 26x2 but i did cut a few inches off the 26, 20 inches is long enough but if you're into extra long hair like me lol ;) 24 in and above

Thanks, darn try having someone else braid it for you, it's basically 2 cornrow braided as tight as possible if you can't find anybody:(remember practice makes perfect :)

you shouldve added 2 more braids , because the back looks as if it still would be straight , and thats why you wear your hair on your shoulders. just a lil advice for next time .
Hey! I've tried 6- 8 braids before n like the results I get with the 2 braids it's easier for me n don't mind a lil straight on the top after a lil fluffing usually jus blends anyway, do Wat works best for ya ;)
