Thank you! Ahhh, there you have asked an excellent question. To be able to pattern match, I always need more fabric than if I was just cutting out of plain fabric. I generally find I use twice as much, but it depends on the exact pattern and how I want it to come out. In this case, I didn't mind having plenty, as I also want to use the fabric in a Bilbo Baggins dressing gown.
She makes this look so easy! Being a big woman, so happy to see a channel that I can connect with. Gorgeous!!
Middle earth stays, lovely
I think Rachel Maksy would love this
Thank you - I love her hobbity style!
What a lovely fabric! I can just imagine these stays as Rosie’s “holiday best”!
This is gooooorgeous, and I am in absolute awe of your ability to stitch in the ditch that binding by machine. All those turns...
These stays are really pretty and you look lovely in them. Great job and great tutorial.
I do love how the total random nature of the pattern led to something so wonderful.
Those stays are gorgeous! I have to admit though, the thought of binding stays completely by machine is nerve wracking.
These are the most beautiful stays I have ever seen. Stunning work and a great video.
