@@michamarciniakdrums 😆, nah man you can do it. John Longstreth was one of the first to bring singlehanded gravity snare blasts to the limelight in the Metal community with his work with Origin. Plus Johns heel-toe technique on the double bass is damn near flawless. I’ve seen Origin live 7 times in 2001, 2004, 2008, and 2022. Each show was spectacular and they even play the material faster live than on the studio recorded material 😆. I’ve seen so many bands play live and seen/heard some great drummers make some very noticeable mess ups which is expected in Technical Death Metal or any extreme Metal genre but John was damn near perfect every time. The thing with using triggers is if you mess up it’s very noticeable as it sounds like out of time sporadic 🍿 popping. I’m sure John has had some bad mess ups in live shows I haven’t heard but the ones I saw were very good. Anyways I give you props 🤜🤛 for posting your cover of a very challenging song to play. Just please don’t stop playing. I’m 43 years old and have been playing drums for 30 years and guitar for 28. I’ve played in a few death metal bands as a guitarist in my younger days (1998-2004) but wasn’t making Jack 💩from playing shows to make a living from it which we weren’t doing it for money but it would’ve been nice to make a living doing what we loved ya know. When I say don’t stop playing I’m saying it because I’ve seen numerous extremely skilled/talented musicians just completely stop playing. It was a huge waste to see them stop and it would be a huge waste if you did as well so I wish you the best in your musical endeavors my friend. Keep pumping out great brutaful music 🤘!
So sick 🙌

Incredibly clean!
replacing the gravitz blast with what looks like doubles is kinda genius for economy of motion, not gonna lie :D
