Hello, I don't know if you still need the answer but at min 1:03 they are using egg wash. It's eggs with a little bit of milk. At min 3:20 they are using plain water. With the egg wash when baked gives the danishes a more golden color. Have a good day!
Hye, I would like to ask a few questions. I opened a pastry shop, and every time I baked a savory danish, the filling disappeared. What's the solution.. I also put a lot of filling, but after baking, there is a little left.
Your fillings must have too much fat in them, since puff pastry if baked at such a high temp your fillings must be thick and trustworthy. You can’t just whip up some cinnamon butter and throw it in alone, throw some roasted pistachios on there and glaze it with maple syrup or something ❤
Honestly these videos remind me why culinary school is pointless ( when you’re already in the industry and learn from real chefs ) cause if I ever went back to school for baking or pastries I’d be PISSED if she was my teacher. I’m sure I could learn a lot from her, but I feel like she’d learn a lot from me too and not in a good way 😂
When anyone says “yea” after saying something and expecting the class to parrot back “yes” annoys the crap out of me. My narcissistic fake guru sister in law does this in her baby soft kindergarten teacher tampon voice 😂
