      Awesome! Are you a fan of the Red Rising series? You're the first person that I've had comment on it in nearly a year.
      I named the truck "Ares" after Fitchner, so I thought the sticker was appropriate.

    I like alot of your choices & setup. I saw your video RSI cap & I-tent & like that as well.

    Are your door hinges overlays or black hinges? My 2020 Gladiator's hinges are orange just like the body color. I really like the contrasting black a whole lot better and would like to do it too.

      They're black plastic "caps." I originally put them on to protect from rock chips and tire fling, but ended up leaving them on after I got the mud flaps (which basically eliminated the issue). My actual hinges are the body color.
      I got them off of Amazon for a reasonable price. Search up jeep hinge covers and there should be quite a few!

      Thanks...I have them on order.

    The RokBlokx XL, are they the XL Long or the XL Regular? It's mud season here in Vermont and the door handles are coated in mud by the time I get to the end of the driveway. Thanks!

      @TerraOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think they'd be a big help for you then. I haven't seen mud on my door handles since install.
      They're the XL-Original. They provide perfect coverage for my 35s at stock height. Any larger than that though, and I'd probably recommend XL-Longs.

    u said it took(RSI) 12-16 weeks to show up & came w/out any heads up from shipper lucky on your off day.

    • @TerraOutdoors
      @TerraOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup! I got one day of notice from the freight company when they called to schedule the dropoff. That was the only notification that I got. I would have preferred tracking info at least, but it ended up working out.

    Stock suspension right? Any rub with them 35s?

    • @TerraOutdoors
      @TerraOutdoors  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      At this point, yes. I never experienced rub, and I ran this wheel/tire/suspension setup for over 3 years.

    you could add 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon to the title for more clarity. was that trail through a field? what's the covers on the door hinges? could also list the mods in the description. how did you wire the inverter?

    • @TerraOutdoors
      @TerraOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fair point. I made this video mostly just to share on forums/my build thread, so I hadn't given the title much thought since it was implied to anyone viewing it that it is a 2020 JT, but you're right--I've updated the title so hopefully it will reach more people that may be interested.
      -It is just a local dirt road through a field, nothing fancy. It's a quiet, easy access place so I like to use it for quick pictures and videos.
      -The door hinge covers are just off of amazon. JeCar is the name of the brand, and they work for both the JL and JT. They're just simple plastic with adhesive on the back, but they've protected my hinges well. The RokBlokz mud flaps do most of that work now however, but I will most likely keep them on until one or more fall off.
      -As far as modifications, I have detailed everything that is done on my build thread, but I may work on transcribing it over here in to a concise list. In the meantime, I'll add a link to my build thread in the video description.
      -For the inverter, I have it wired directly off of the battery, through a 50 amp circuit breaker I installed on top of the fuse box. You can see that detail around the 12:00 mark in the video. From there, I have the wires routed across the engine bay along the firewall, down the engine bay and in to the driver side floor drain, through the floor trim along the driver's side, and up behind the rear driver side seat where my inverter is housed. The wire is loomed the whole way through in order to protect it. I believe I used 10 gauge speaker wire from end to end. A bit overkill perhaps, but an inverter really isn't the thing to skimp out on wiring for, and I had some extra from a previous project.

    I ordered the RokBlox... wrong color by mistake, so beware , they won't take return even if they are unopened..... With that said, would anyone be interested in a pair of orange XL front & rear?

    • @TerraOutdoors
      @TerraOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ouch. That sucks Ed, I'm sorry to hear that. I wonder why they won't take them back...seems like kind of an odd policy. Hopefully you can find a buyer! They're a great bit of kit.

      Not sure if that's a question or a statement? The tires are 35s.
