Coolest pro angler. Would be a fun guy to fish with. Cracks me up.
Thanks man!!👍🏼
I grew up watching your Dad's show with my father every Sunday afternoon... if we couldn't be out fishing, we were sitting on the couch watching fishing/ Glad to see the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Keep the vids coming!
I'm 15 and I'm the only one in my family who really likes fishing. My dad got me into it but he just doesn't have time to take me so I ride my bike everywhere. I'm the same as you because if I'm not fishing I'm watching fishing
Save up for a car. I just turned 16 and bought myself a car just for fishing. It's so helpful and you get more time fishing and less time riding.
I have learned alot from this video. Thank you for the information. Fish on brother
Same
I know this has been up for a long time but Scott Martin you are by far my favorite angler. Keep the good content coming!
Scott, Very, Very helpful. Thx
Thanks for the helpful tips of fishing new areas....

Another great video. Thank you Mark.
So informative. I'm in central Florida so you're tips are especially helpful to me :) Thank you Scott.
Hey buddy, i am from Brazil, i live on Mato Grosso state, and love fishing. Nice channel, hope you keep making videos like this, very informative. We don't have this kind of fish on our rivers, but we catch a lot of other specimens, like a tucunaré, cachorra and others. Thanks for the videos!!!
thanks!!
Great tutorial, keep them up!
Awesome video
Scott Martin you have helped me get my PB 11.3
Nice to see that the pros have those days to. Like the moveing bait knowledge. I find my self Flipping that black worm too much. Thank you for the new perspective.
You're welcome!
Lol the black worm. You'll find alot of "bass fisherman" are joker's they over think everything and often think getting skunked is not normal
Hi Scott thanks for the information. It's very useful to have an idea of how to approach new water and what to use. Good luck in the 2017 FLW season.
this was a good video better than anyone I have seen
it's nice seeing a pro get as frustrated and me missing a big fish!
Scott, I watch alot of bass and fishing vids. I am an avid angler here in Wa, the great PNW. Love your vids man, very informative and just plain good! Love the clown fishing in florida. Keep it up!
Thanks Bert!
Great Stuff!
This helps a lot! thank you!

Great video, I learned so much from this video.
Thanks bro...share it up
Scott Martin I like watching your videos you are funny as they come also either lucky or good
Love that you started posting more
Every Wednesday and Sunday for now then more soon
Nice looking lake, great info 👍🏻
Thanks bro
Your videos are my new obsession. Great production across all your channels. Would love to see a video with you detailing what your choice of gear would be if you were on a weekender budget but wanted to maximize your outfits. Say limited to 5 or six rod and reel combos. # each of casting and spinning rigs, and how you would set them up.
great video thanks for the great tips.
Thanks
Thanks!!!
Hey Scott Martin I live on the Harris chain and have meet you at lake griffin and lake Harris. Just the other day on the Sam canal your daughter caught the 9 pounder earlier this year I caught a 7 pounder on your 6’9’’ apc rod!
like the new style Scott very informative man
thanks matt
Enjoy this video. Tks, and God bless u an ur family. I miss ur dad Fishin.
Anytime man ur a beast !
Thank you for the great information. keep up the great video's.
Thanks bro!!
+Pro KILLDEATH thanks!!
Good vid!
Scott one technique i like around the cattail stups is the senko with no weight on it... seems to catch big fish and get bites when its really hot out and nothing seems to be working...
Awesome Scott! Huk... that's new lol! Loving the Web-Videos lately! You have a lifetime subscriber!
Thanks bro
Scott Martin Do you edit these videos yourself?
That's good stuff Scott I would love to get out on the water with ya man give me a holla buddy thanks for all ur hard work I know I appreciate everything u do see ya later
CAN YOU do a series based on different conditions based on fishing new lakes like this. All based on weather, water, and vegetation conditions all on fishing new areas both by boat and land which would be awesome.
Tyler Here from upstate NY. love your videos. very informative and action packed. curious as to what video recording gear you use? more so the camera setup on the console of your boat. Best of luck to you on Harris Chain and the rest of your FLW seasons! tight lines! Mr. Martin
Man you got a great personality for video!
🙏🏼
He should....he's been in front of a camera for years and years
You should have fished the 1.0 strike king square bill black back with green belly. The bass in Mr. Rigdills pond would have killed it. Fish that pond pretty often caught some monsters
You need to come fish brushy branch in Rome Georgia on Tuesday
scotts okuma tcs rods have become my go to rods..i have many rods that cost more but dont provide the same quality or sensitivity
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Chris Conrad I'm sold on the TCS rods as well!! Bought 3 in the past 3 weeks and getting ready to order another...
now i hare a really clear lake but lots of grass on bottom. and i mean really clear. there are some over hangs with trees and bushes and some cattails. now as we go out it sinks to about 30-40 ft deep. and tips as to how i should catch or what types of baits to use?
Hey Scott I've met you at the Forrest wood cup the last two years. Last time we talked was on championship day at the cup this Year. Do you remember me?
Like the vid
thanks bro
Hey scott! love the vids..! what size tungsten were u flippin'?
Justin B who cares? You use the size that's appropriate for the conditions you're fishing...not tying it on just cuz somebody used it in a video on TH-cam LOL. Duh
Thanks for all the tips. I am a new subscriber. By the way, what Costa Sunglasses are you wearing? Thanks

was looking for the link you said was gonna be below to watch the mapping of the lake...Was it deleted? I know the video is a couple years old, but i wanted to see how it worked.
Good video man...had some good fishing over by uncle joes dike not too long ago
👍🏼👍🏼
What size weight were you flipping?
just watched your Colorado blade spinner bait in okachoobie the lake I fish has a chocolate milk look right now I bought a c.s.b. to try tomorrow it's a double like the one you used chartreuse body, Wal-Mart stuff no bass pro shop near me calling partly cloudy and 70 water temp between 50 and 55 degrees should I fish it slow?
what up Scott
great peice of information! will come in handy over the next month or so. #ShaneOhhsEscape
How many rods should you bring??
He's right, the better fishing is behind him out from the bank... fewer but bigger fish.
I was just wondering why do you fish FLW and not the other series? Would like to see you on MLF.
Corey Johnson sponsorship contracts, points and other pro horse shit most likely
Hey Scott
What's up👍🏼
What’s the song in the intro?
for small bodies of water like that you were flippin would you use braid or flouro?
Braid
Braid. Use your ears.
scott does this info go for ponds too?
Sure
Where is the lake mapping video?
What’s the background song at the beginning?
Hooky with sloan. Also, check out Richard gene
What kind of rod and reel you using here?
All Okuma TCS...it rocks!!
What about a lake that you don’t know has bass in it?
Your dad is the MAN if you turn out half the person he is, then......Well...
what rod/reel do u use? what line do u recommend?
Okuma 7.3H Helios 8.1
would you do this if you are fishing a lake for the first time during a tournament?
nathan flovin they usually get a day or so to prefish
nathan flovin but for the guy who only fishes the occasional tournament you don't always get the luxury of practice or prefishing. My biggest tip is go with what you're confident in. Fish baits your confident with and the types of cover you're most confident fishing
Approach it like this..
is he wearing a rolex sub mariner?
Jim J looks like it. The triangle at the 12 and the bar at the 6 make it appear to be one
What is your opinion on chatter baits because I have no confidence in them what so ever
Andrew Ready they are great baits trust me. Caught many fish on them. You only need 2 colors. A chartreuse and white or just white. And a green pumpkin/bluegill darker color. Get a trailer to match the chatterbait. And mix up your retrieve. Good luck
Andrew Ready I'll agree with almost everything said above, the only thing I don't agree with is only having two colors, I like to have a black and blue one also for dirty water. A chatterbait is one of the best moving baits out there and it's awesome for covering water and finding fish.
wesjanz that is true a black and blue is good for muddy water but I was just trying to make it as simple as possible.
Great search bait and they catch big ones
who else saw fish at 1:21
is he wearing a rolex at 12:15
Fishing AZ yes, and who cares?....
is this guy related to Roland?
Jeremiah Fisher he's his son
Wow...really? Lol
I'm not sure if this video is that much help since that lake is only 50 acres. Yeah you can probably scope out a 50 acre lake with a lure in the beginning to get the "feel" but why not just cruise the lake and use your imaging to find fish? Once you find the fish then you can try to learn the presentation they want. You don't have the luxury of time when you're hitting up a new 1000 acre lake and that's a big difference when you're find hotspots in a giant pond. IMO I think a lot of the process involved in fishing a new lake is doing your homework on it. That might be a good contour map or just talking to the guy at the bait shop.
looks like your missing a bunch of fish Id change lure companys
What do you do when you don't have a boat full of computers?
Hey scott how old are you?
Luis Ramirez is your Google broken? ...n btw, kind of a weird question, on its own, from a stranger online. #creepin

Love your stuff and learned a lot from your videos but the more I watch, the more it seems like you are just one big ad and it’s frustrating. Great fisherman and great content but your videos are just turning into ads.
if u would have sweep set the other way u would have a better set penetration #1 fish bite
you have a lot of subs but not a lot of likes even for a free giveaway that is weird
nobody likes me :(( lol
Scott Martin I'm with ya bro
I'm in land o lakes I live on a unpressured lake because its private it gets deep and shallow and has cattails all around it and some brush but a bottom the a jig just sinks in and you cant even see but man I wish someone like u could come fish because I used to go out everyday and catch 2-3 9 pounders but now I cant..... but at least the hit at frogs but I'm starting to believe that the are retarded because I had a fish yesterday hit at a frog 6 times... big fish but just never got it and I was letting it sit still....help?
"how to fish a new lake" throw a chatterbait endlessly until you catch one fish. 2 hours later after not catching anything, go flipping.
U repeat over n over about not wasting time but in all reality that's exactly what u did. U should have known after fishing 2 banks with no bites that's it's time to switch it up but ur the pro 😂
this was a good video better than anyone I have seen
thank you
