I use soapcalc for lye measurements. I learned by reading and watching videos. I think the soap pitchers are from Amazon. The fragrance is 8th and Ocean from Nurture Soap.
I like it a lot. I can get super white, but I have to be careful because it’s water soluble and I always use a heating pad while my soap is curing. I get glycerin rivers easily from it. The glycerin rivers in this design were intentional for the watery look, but I have also had it happen unintentionally. It is definitely whiter than the oil soluble TD from BB which I also use. It also doesn’t require mechanical mixing which I feel the oil soluble TD does.
I’m not sure what water to lye ratio I used but I did increase the water just a bit to force the glycerin rivers. Always run your recipe through soap calc to make sure you use a safe amount of lye. 😊
Love the desing AND colors, So pretty. Thank you for sharing Sadie.
Beach soaps are my favorite! 🩵
How did you learn about lye and how much to mix? where do you get those specific pouring cups from? What fragrance was used?

How do you like Mad Micas Titanium Dioxide? I bought mine from Bramble Berry and was not a fan...

How much lye solution did you use for that recipe please?
