Crunchyroll has definitely been dropping the ball, their customer support is absolute garbage, I waited a month for a “follow up” just to be told they couldn’t help me with my request. Then just like you and I’m sure many others, they don’t tell me when things are being shipped and even if I check the orders on the website it doesn’t say shipped, then partial packages of orders show up randomly. I even got a shipping confirmation a week later for a package I already received……it’s pretty bad rn and I have no idea how such a big organization that loves to buy everything, was prepared to acquire the responsibility of Rightstuf customers. They got big shoes to fill and they are definitely not so so.
Well I'm jealous you atleast got a shipping notification even after receiving it so you can track your purchases somehow. I'm not sure where I'm going to go after all my pre orders are fulfilled but unless things shape up it won't be crunchyroll. BAM Barnes and merry merry manga I've seen mentioned before. I can't believe they made you wait 1mo to tell you they can't help lmao. What are these higher ups doing? When the warehouse shift happens things will either be better because it'll all be in house or worse because crunchyroll is notoriously terrible with shipping.
@elsendoh ya they ofcourse released those bundles after I recorded this video. I have one coming out on the 30th that says "nice jobs crunchyroll you actually had viz and Kodansha bundles I take that 1 concern back" 😂 but I saw them pop up on like Friday or Thurs and was like you have to be kidding me lol
i made the mistake of ordering some manga on the black friday sale, and now i cant even cancel it since they say its shipping, even though it says the order is still processing after days. i definitely wont be ordering from there again lol
Something similar happened to my friend in Canada. Switched to shipped the same day as they ordered and then even changed their first name 😂 it'll probably be a bad sale due to the shipping complications, not the pricing 😅

Ya I an the same way but I am holding off on buying. I was comparing prices around the net and reached a similar conclusion. Manga sales have slowed lately so I am banking that vols wont go oos as fast as they used to
Same. I had boxes just show up when i ordered off of rightstuf. Literally had to sign into rightstuf and manually go to the order to see where my tracking number was.
I'm jealous, mine are mostly partially filled since I bought pre orders during publisher sales typically. So they just add a new tracking # to the list I guess 😵💫
I will spare my wallet and frustrations and just read online. Better anyways since most are way, way ahead online then physical. To bad rightstuf had to go for the money.
I had a bunch of preorders that have come in stock and gone back out of stock and haven’t been shipped to me like hxh 37 for example. What’s the point of preordering if my order wasn’t guaranteed
I love all your manga hauls and am an active subscriber of your channel. I was just wondering if you could maybe die down on showing us so much of each of the inside of the volume to avoid spoilers. I don’t mind a little of the artwork, but I feel just a little too much is being shown. You can take my opinion w a grain of salt if you desire it is YOUR channel and I am not telling you how to run it. Love this channel
Ya I can show a little less. In the future I'll stick to 2 or 3 pages from the first half of the Volume to avoid too many intense spoilers. I do try to segment my hauls into unbox, haul, then break down of the series and showing the art work off usually at the middle, so if you want absolutely 0 spoilers, I'd switch to listening mode at that point. 🙂
Did they actually state they are moving warehouses? I assumed it would be cheaper and easier to just keep the manga in the RS warehouse but just move movies and figures to their texas location. Since manga is still coming from that old RS location but blu rays and figures are sometimes coming from the texas location
I saw on reddit a customer support representative responded to an email saying "they're sorry for the delay as they transition to their new warehouse " I would agree with that but it's probably really difficult to manage orders that way since orders can be manga and dvds and figures lol it makes more sense to put them in 1 box I would think but who knows.
My first order from CR, I paid using PayPal and the receipt I got said I had paid RightStuf Inc. That order arrived from the RighStuf warehouse. I just placed a new order for their Black Friday deals and that one I just used my credit card for. It was billed directly to CR. I'm not sure why it's different, but I'm curious where it will ship from this time. Is the RightStuf warehouse the only location for manga at the moment?
So far the rightstuf warehouse is the only location for manga I've seen. Their Texas one has had dvds and figures, though a few of those will come from grimes too. People on reddit have mentioned issues with ordering using PayPal on CR saying that it says the items are out of stock despite them being in stock. There have been a few work a rounds found but for some reason only the crunchyroll account reliably takes paypal orders. Just an odd thing I guess? 🤔

CR had a kodansha special. If you search for bundles you’ll see Noragami, fire force and some other ones.

Probably the best move. Maybe smart for RSA as physical manga hype is on the decline lol but yea it's a big loss for us.
