He just likes it because he has someone else shooting b-roll for a change. 🤣 I might not be the most graceful person on my feet and hiking might be a bit much for me but going along one some of the trips is fun.
Glad you are feeling better. Thanks for another fun episode. Bought a National Parks Pass and did our first small hikes last weekend. Going back Sunday. Inspired to do so by your videos.
I love the Wilcox area. I use to live in Desert Hills. So we would spend a lot of time down that way. You are young for shingles. I need to get a shot for that.
Always fun to get away from it and apple farm are alway great to pick fresh apples. You should have got a nice plump apple pie..Nice to know arizona has all this to offer. Interesting to see your road trip.
Wow, it was really a good drive out, Beautiful drive, the place looks beautiful, oh sorry for the sickness you got back! Yeah it might have been nasty! Thanks for sharing with us dear, new friend here
As a proud Wildcat, Eegee's is a must when going through Tucson. The lemon was the og flavor, but I do miss it! Another fun trip and I would go just for the breakfast...yum!!
@@CactusAtlas I was in Eegees a week or two ago and heard them telling someone they were looking to build one in the Phoenix area but didn't have a site pick it sounded like. Fingers crossed you might get one.
Yeah... Can't remember what the place that the eegee's are in. Ah! Blimpie's. That's it. Never been in one. Interestingly when I just looked it up I saw this: www.azcentral.com/story/entertainment/dining/2020/10/10/eegees-locations-coming-metro-phoenix-tucson/5943961002/ Sadly still south of us but a lot closer than Casa Grande! And Teegee sounds delicious! I'll have to try that!
New subscriber here. After spending some time in Sedona and going to the Balloon festival in New Mexico I am developing a growing appreciation for the Southwest and the cuisine. But let's face it Popeyes, especially the red heans and rice, is always a winner!! Looking forward to seeing more of your road trips. I invite you to check out my vanlife cooking channel and perhaps follow if you like for ideas on quick easy meals
Oh man. That balloon festival is a bucket list item. Was it as awesome as it seems? We're definitely going to have to try more Popeyes. Thanks for the comment and welcome!
@@CactusAtlas Yes. It definitely was awesome, especially what they call the night glow when all the balloons are lit up at night. I recommend camping on the grounds if you can. You can just step out of your camper and see the balloons lift off in the am.
Ahhh there's the infamous unseen Amy. So good to see how Happy Glenn is when you're with him Amy. What a great escape for you two.

Another fun video:). Buckwheat pancakes for me!
Thanks! Never had buckwheat pancakes but sounds terrific! 😃
The Thing is a place I want to see when I get out that way
The Thing was actually quite something and we really enjoyed it. We should have the video coming out pretty soon!
Ive never had a cider donut that is something I must try!!! I have fond memories of the ostrich farm when my son was little 😀😀
Cider donuts are sooo good. The ones in New England are especially amazing. 🥰

Thanks! Awesome to hear! We love those passes. So easy to make them pay for themselves at fantastic places. 😀

Yeah, unfortunately it isn't just an over 50s guarantee and those in their 40s can get it too. Wouldn't wish it on anyone. It's just awful.

We thought about picking up one of the pies but it would have been too much. One day though! They're supposed to be really good.

Thanks so much and for the comment as well! 😊
@@CactusAtlas you are welcome dear friend
i have not eaten at Eegee before.
We've only had the drinks, never any food. Probably something we should fix one day. 😅

It's too bad there's not any establishments in Phoenix. There's so many changing flavors and so few times we get to try them.

That. Would. Be. Fabulous. 😁 I'll have to keep my ears open. Thanks for the info!

I love Popeyes Spivey chicken and there cole slaw.
It's pretty tasty. Now I'm craving some! 😂
I love me some Popeyes!
Hahah! We are admittedly quite late to the game having never tried it before. But I think we're converted! So good!
Popeye's is the best!!!
Lol! We certainly are starting to think so too. 😁
