I have the 2017 pair as well. I INSTANTLY noticed the difference on my 2021 pair from confirmed app! Adidas following suit with Nike and cheaping out on quality of materials.. 🤦🏽♂️
The only major disappointment for me is the difference in shape, especially the heel. But as for the materials (specifically the suede), you gotta remember that they change with wear. I have an older pair as well and the suede V on the toebox used to look flat when I first got them, but these days it looks super hairy like the OG pair. Just something to consider.

You definitely don’t want a 2017 pairs that’s been sitting in a box. Think about it. In another year they’ll be 5 years old. When a shoe is that old with out being worn you start risking sole separation. I’d rather have a new pair it will most definitely last longer if you plan on having it for years down the line.

I got mine from stock x and they shipped from the UK facility. My shoes have the manufacture date inside of 5/21 and are made in India but the box has the OG label on it. All the tags on the shoe match the numbers on the box and all the Yeezy day differences you pointed out are present on mine so just note that you may get the “OG” sticker style on the box if you’re are from Europe. This happens to me quite a bit as I’m a size 16 in yeezys and 15 in Jordan’s and most of what I buy on stock x comes from European stock x locations. Their tag system always appears to be different.
Just got the 2022 version and I thought it was a rep tbh. My reps were hella close besides lace color and Oranges on the heel were a different shade more orange on the fake more peach on the real. Tongue also longer on OG and for it more snug on the new versions

I have Yeezy 380 in size 10 and they fit almost perfect but the top of the toe box on the shoe kind of sits/rest on my big toe at the end kind of on top. Just enough to feel contact not enough to hurt. Should I get same size 10 in Yeezy 700 Wave Runner or go up half size to 10.5 ?

I had the ogs. I had a restock from 2019. None of them hold up good they get dirty really fast and crease pretty bad. Just wear them and enjoy them and don’t think about it too much 😎
Do the orange ovals have 3m to them on the 2021 pair? Just got a pair off stockX and they don't have much 3m to them. But my OG's was way more noticeable. All under a flash of course..hoping I didn't get sent a fake..
