My opinion: Although Jason does want him safe, Jake and the danger was an excuse. He realized that Liz was not the woman for him, that he still loved Sam. However, he couldn't just admit that and walk away. That would have made all ratchedly bad things he'd said and done to Sam in the name of the love he professed for Liz that much worse. And unlike Sam neither he or Liz were willing to own up to their mistakes. Sad cause she never really got the respect she deserved from them.
Jason sure is being nosey about Lucky & Sam's quarrel. If he didn't care, he wouldn't be asking Lucky all these personal questions. Especially when he wanted to know what they were arguing about.
Omg seriously Elizabeth isn't a China doll who breaks every time that something bad happens in her life ask all the other women in P.C who she has shown her true colors to, she's just better at acting weak & helpless in the presence of men. I'm sure she could've handled talking to the F.B.I. without Lucky being there. His concerns should've been for Sam but he left Jason to help Sam. But I know Lucky being there for Liz & Jason for Sam was leading up to Jasam's reunion so I'm ok with that.

If that had been real, it wouldn't of been a fair question because Lucky still olives Elizabeth. I am very aware that this was Sam's subconscious alerting her to her own feelings. She might still love Jason at this point but she is with and loyal to Lucky (for now// Jerry doesn't count!).
Shannon Smith he didn't not know until lucky came and asking about her. then he had spanelli hack into her phone and saw the last number he called was to Jason he didn't know at the time tho.

Sonny is a narcissist blaming his choices on Jason. He never takes responsibility. Still in 2023 he probly is waiting to blame Jason for his problems.
