That ratchet was really clean! Wow. Like new. That was a great find.

That looks very much like an Armstrong contract ratchet. They're super durable and will hold their value quite well, too.

    That ratchet turned out beautiful!!
I have an Armstrong flexhead that’s the twin of it. I have a bunch of kits and probably have a selector you can swap out if you’re interested let me know. I’m thinking I need one like it now.

I agree that this is an Armstrong contract ratchet. On another note, I can't seem to find any 1/2" drive kits for an Armstrong ratchet that I have with a broken anvil. Of course, I can't warranty it anymore, so I've been searching. Where did you find yours, if you don't mind me asking?

@@phillipbainbridge9107 this was made by Danaher it was not Armstrong. What I was saying is it was made on the same design as the Armstrong after Danaher had taken over. What model of Armstrong’s are you searching parts for as some of the older ones can be fixed with snap on where the newer can be fixed with craftsman parts. Can probably help you either way I have parts.

@@182JoeT Ah, understood. That does make perfect sense. It bears a resemblance to my Armstrong made Matco ratchets, which is where I drew my conclusion from. The kit I'm looking for is to repair an Armstrong 12-973.

@@phillipbainbridge9107 What ratchets are those? Because Danaher/apex also produced them until around 2017

@@182JoeT It's probably an ATG Armstrong.
