I simply love your "average" drawings and videos! You are far from average, I love, love your unique and free style. I love painting and drawing after watching your videos, you help me unwind my foggy brain.
i love neocolor II theyre so fun and they give you alot of control, i use them like crayons but then blend them with a water brush and it gives a perfect gradient almost every time, also gigi looks like my cat meme- so cuteeeeeee
I love the texture they give. Regular oil pastels and wax pastels tend to crumble and leave mark on the other side of the page but these are so so good I have heard. I want to try them too
I think Gigi can have a little biting. As a treat. I've been using these with oil pastels recently! as they're a bit thinner they're nice to add some smaller details.
I have two cats. And the big one, Sketch loves jumping on my desk when I'm drawing even though he's a little too big for my desk. He'll let me know when he intrudes my room by brushing against my legs then when I least suspect it. He'll jump on desk and lay across my art or sit on it. I love my chunky boy so much. 😊
@@baffledmouse Thank you ☺️ I wanted to have an artsy name for my cat. My other cat's name, Smoke is a family pet's name. My dad's side of the family always had a pet named Smoke or Smokey. She's a fluffy diva tho.
Beautiful drawings, they really pop with the bright neocolors. Those neocolors are one of my favorite art supplies besides charcoal. I had more than 50 colors bought individual but 2 months ago I bought the whole 84 set with a good deal.
I love chilling and watching along with your videos while I do stuff! I usually forget to comment but I'm making myself this time while I remember haha
Hullo Steph, I love working with the Neocolor sticks! 1’s and 2’s! I first got Neocolor 2’s in college the 10 stick set was easy and had all of the basic colors and they mix so well! I used regular masking tape to hold my paper down and use the rough tape surface to scribble the crayon on for mixing colors or to create a spot for getting color from the stick to create a larger or deluded wash! I have since purchased the white board Caran d’Ache sells to use as a palette it will allow you to keep the unused color for the next time! You can use small detail brushes for those tiny details just rub the wet brush along the stick to pick up color. You have done a truly lovely job creating these figures, keep us posted on your progress! See ya next video.
A plastic cutting board works really well with these. One you scribble some neocolors 2 on the board it is easier to pick up and use as normal watercolors. Keeps your tin clean ;)
