Thank you! Glad you like them mate
Excellent Update! 🙂👍
Thank you very much! Too kind! Glad you enjoyed it
Great video as usual. Looks like you are using a new camera. Love the video quality. Really shows the Furcifer off. Thanks Jason!!!
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it! Oh yeah well, its my new mobile phone (Google Pixel 6a). It's not bad, but nothing beats the macro shots my full frame Canon 6D can do. Although I would like a new DSLR that's capable of 4k.
Awsome video Jason!!! I "used" agression to improve male behaviour with Aulonocara.
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it 👍 very good, glad it worked out for you
Awesome, man! I just love your fishroom.
Thanks heaps mate! Glad you do!
Loved the tour. Always love the Tanganyikan fish
Glad you did! Yeah same here, something special about them.
Furcifer have such a cool personality, the dominant males' are so colorful and spaztic. Years ago I had a beautiful male Gold Head Furcifer (Gold Head Green Body with some Blue) in a 150 gallon with a couple of females and some Ventralis. The male Furcifer dominated the center of the tank dive bombing any fish that came out of the corners. Unfortunately I lost them during some back to back Florida hurricanes in 2005.
They do, yeah he is pretty crazy! He is still displaying to the females right now and I shot that footage about 3 days ago! Your Gold Head Furcifer sounds like it was extremely colourful wiith a green/blue body! Ventralis are colourful too. Would have been a pretty active aquarium that one! Sorry to hear you lost them. Would be so helpless in a horrible situation like that.
What are your water parameters for your shell dwellers ? Multies?
Right now i add tang buffer and cichlid salts at every water change , but i wonder if just crushed coral would be enough and maybe a bit of cichlid salts , with just CC , my ph gets to 7.6-7.8.
Id love to know your opinion please
I honestly haven't tested my water for a while. Last I checked pH was 7.8. Crushed coral sand will help for sure.
Hi Jason, just a quick question, who resell's your fish? Or is it possible to buy directly from you?? Cheers
AllFish2U sell my fish and ship all over Australia. If you're in Sydney or close by flick me an email jasonscichlids@gmail.com and we can work something out.
Hey mate, I'm currently looking into making a rack system similar to yours. I know in one of your other videos you had mentioned you would make your tanks all 4' with dividers. For things like aggressive/stress etc do you think it would be better still going individual tanks? Trying to decide myself.
I still think dividers will work fine over individual tanks even with aggressive/stressed fish. For those situations use a divider that's not clear, that should do the job. The only issue having so many 4 footers would be quarantining off newly purchased fish. You would have to leave an entire 4 foot tank for that. An alternative would be to have a couple smaller tanks for quarantining off fish.
@@JasonsCichlids Oh I thought you meant as in separate compartments just with glass dividers. I have more to think about now.😂
Thanks for the reply mate, love your videos!
