- Ever since I was a kid I've had the aviation bug. So it was only fitting that I proposed to my best friend in an airplane. This is a video of the surprise, one of the best days of my life! The maneuver refers to the proposal itself, which I have dubbed "the circular engagement" in an effort to mask what exactly I was about to do!

Yeah, she was probably ready to flip the plane a few times. He flipped her right into the married category! Threw her for a real loop. Brilliant. And she was so courageous about it. Lovely!
This is one of the best ones I’ve yet seen. I feel lucky to have gotten in on the ground floor. Eternal happiness to you both, I can tell this is special.

What a lovely, lovely video!!! I'm a 65 year old retired music teacher and i'm sitting here in the UK crying tears of happiness for you! I've watched a few of these and, I'm always struck by the transformation of the girls' faces from 'slightly bored', 'just routine' to 'slightly panicked' (but trusting boyfriend/pilot) to 'stunned relief' and then 'ABSOLUTE RADIANCE'!!! I agree entirely! The same as you, i've watched lots of these surprise wedding/engagement proposal videos, in planes and on the ground, even prom ones are good too. You're 65, perhaps 66 now, i'm 58 myself and concur with your summing up regarding the girls faces. May be it is the romantic in us, and perhaps wishing our time was to come again. They're really good anyway.

A lady I know well was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago. She has apparently beat that demon down and back into its deep, dark hole, for which I am truly grateful.
It also changed her outlook on life, and on what's important...and what's not. Which is what prompts my post here to you two.
I'm sure she would agree with everything I just said in those first few sentences^^^. Because she spoke many of those words to me herself..... I just learn from all of you--the experts.
