I am Herbivore so I use Brain Fungus soup (Int +4) Corn Soup (AP regen) Gourd Soup (Per +4) and Cranberry Relish (XP +20). They all work together at the same time. This helps me a lot. Plus I have those other mutations you mentioned so I'm always running around with a constant XP buff.

The only bad thing about stacking everything is that you become a nerve wreck, becoming desperate as soon as nothing happens in the game, if a farming area is already cleared etc. Panic starts creeping up when you see an empty West-Tek and you know your only copy of Live & Love 3 is active. This has led me to go into a kind of shutdown state a couple of times, when I'm just staring at the screen with glazed eyes, absently, not knowing what to do.

Only think i noticed is if you play an hour on 100% open another one itll say 100% But my game crashed, came back. 25% But if you open them in the hour and you log out. Theyll be there once you log back in
Herbivore doubles some effects but not others. For sweet tato stew, it raises HP heal from 60 to 120, reduces hunger by 40% instead of 20%; but it doesn't double HP regen, which remains 0.25%. For corn soup, Herbivore doubles HP heal, doubles hunger reduction, and even doubles AP regen from 3% to 6%; but it doesn't double thirst reduction. For razorgrain soup and vegetable medley soup, it doubles the HP heal and hunger reduction, but doesn't double disease resistance and thirst reduction. And of course, Herbivore doesn't double the duration of any of these consumables. But I'm just glad that it doubles cranberry relish's XP boost. It seems certain buffs like HP heal and others are always doubled, while some effects aren't.

I did not know that it was specific lunchbox effects... I just noticed that 1 of my lunchboxes was cancelled after using a magazine ... And when I tested it the other way around I must have just been lucky since i kept my magazine buff and still had 100% from lunchbox
Oh, another reason not to go for magazine hunting. As I usually don't have magazines, I didn't know about the interaction with lunchboxes. Regarding my preperation I already collected the food buffs and today will only farm some berry mentats and invest some gold bullion in lunch boxes. My goal for the double XP weekend is level 1000 (or as close as I get) and a finished SCORE season board (currently level 857 and SCORE rank 87).
UPDATE: I know this video is older but over the last Double XP Weekend I was able to successfully use Live and Love 8 and four Lunchboxes for the 100% Extra XP and the 5% XP at the same time. The Live and Love 8 was not override. I'm not sure when this was fixed, but it works.
And to further clarify so all misunderstanding is avoided - proximity to ANY teammates (public team, private, whatever) does NOT matter. You get the full benefit so long as you're on the team, even if you're all in different corners of the map.

@@torsteinnorbertson Also, being well fed also gives you a max health bonus. There are different buff levels for being fed (I believe they are 25%, 50%, and 75%), and dropping below these levels is the main cause of the infamous random health loss.

Looking at your other XP farm builds, does this mean the base INT stat doesn't really matter as much as long as you can stack buffs and have the needed armor and mutations?
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that each point on INT gives +2% additional xp bonus. If so live and love 8 with the 5% bonus would be inferior to Backwoodmans 6 because it would grant you 6%-8% (not sure how FO76 rounds). Your INT bonus went up from 7.5 to 11.25 when you popped Backwoodsman 6 a difference of 3.75- which should translate to a 6%-8% bonus. Am I wrong in my math?
Radiation rumble, path to enlightenment and line in the sand are three of my biggest xp farming events. No need to kill everything either just tag them and other players can finish them off and share the xp. As Turtle says super mutants give great xp.

I don't know exactly about your gear but if possible I would love to see an comparison between the top tier fixers to see which one is the best. For example Q/25/** ;B/25/** ;B/Vats Crit./** ;B/E/** or something like those legendaries.

Good video Turtle. 👍 Max possible Int is 77 in public server only. Before wastelanders dlc, it was possible get int 75 with full uny +i and unyielding glitch. I m used uny + i armor set 1 year now and last week i finally got missing piece to uny +i secret service armor set. Higher lever you are more xp you need to lvl up. 🙂
Ok, to make it simple, not perfectionist as in video...😉. Until lv like 600-700 all u need : mutations mentioned +25% bonus food, scb brain/ br.bombs, berry mentats, inspirational, lunchboxes. Nothing more. These, u can have active all the time. You will not notice too much difference, lvling is fast. Drop bombs, visit events, farm mutants. And later, after lv 600-700, no reason to exp, because lvl is not important...all 6-7 legendary perks u use must be maxed. Trust the guy over 1000 😉
Xp buffs are great if you need it, but when your level 700+ the xp is kinda irrelevant unless you want to do the scoreboard but even that is simple enough that i can easily complete it without buffs, i use thr buffs if i want to level up quickly to complete yhe dailies thats about it now

Three friends friend of mine have played almost all the previous single player fallout games. I never played them. We all started a character a few months ago, playing only a few hours ever other week together. Everyone in the group is level range of 7-14. I don't think any of us have crafting recipes for berry, mentats brain bombs, brain fungus soup, or anything using scorchbeast meat; and if anyone happens to have the right magazine I would be very surprised. Also no serums at all. From my viewing of your videos on levelling, I see that sleeping, taking the XP bonus perks, and lunchboxes are all easy to acquire for playing on private servers. The XP bonus perks are going to mean that weapons will do less damage and weight management of junk will be an ongoing issue since the many perks would be spent on XP boost. What is the best way for a small private group that only plays in teams together on a private server and is not interested in PvP to level up to 50? What other options are there for a team of players who really want to use Fallout 76 more like what Fallout 3/4 would be it if had allowed teams?
meet up, open one launch box each (they work on everyone nearby therefore you will save a lot) and then go and kill super mutants together, you will be surprised how quickly you all will be lvl 50+ ;)
Dont make worry with exp, low lvls exp fast anyway, the guide is msinly for those who need to exp for legendary perks. Use just rewards from feed the ppl event. As ppl to craft u weapon and be in casual team.
I never bother with these to be honest. In the time it takes to farm ingredients, bobbleheads, magazines, etc i would have done two SBQ. If you want xp just shoot lots of stuff in the face.
@@Deuce4242 I'm not againts xp buffs, i'm just saying you don't need EVERY single one of them. Do the sleep buff, get 10%xp from mamma dolce's canned stew (its free and 2 treasury notes), put inspirational on and you're good to go. No need to run around the map hunting squirrels and such.
I agree, you have to weigh the time spent vs the yielded XP. Should still have the passive ones though, they require no work. Also cranberry relish, berry mentats and brainfungus soup are so quick to make en masse, if you optimize your route and have good with salt, can spend like 1h getting the XP buffs for a whole weekend, and it wont spoil.

Quick note Magazine + Lunchbox Bug was fixed therefore you can freely use 4 lunchboxes +1 magazine in any order ;)
Do you keep your magazine buff if you server hop? I heard some rumor it cancels out on you if you server hop.
Don't forget the 5% XP boost from Path to Enlightenment when that eveny pops up.

Holy levels man a friend of mine has done this and has leveled up from level 18 to 240 in a few days and his buff aren't as good as this

it actually doesn't require any team at all you just need to be on a public team it works if you're by yourself there 😅

That happened because the max health buff from tato salad expired. If you don't use max health buffs this won't happen to you.

it's not so easy as there's a lot of multiplicative and additive bonuses in the mix
For the heard mentality mutation, how close do I have to be to teammates? As I normally play solo but on a public team
It doesn't matter. As long you are in a team, you get the bonus.

Best fixer for dmg is bloody ffr, 25% less vats. For survability, same but vampire one.

Also no serums at all. From my viewing of your videos on levelling, I see that sleeping, taking the XP bonus perks, and lunchboxes are all easy to acquire for playing on private servers. The XP bonus perks are going to mean that weapons will do less damage and weight management of junk will be an ongoing issue since the many perks would be spent on XP boost. What is the best way for a small private group that only plays in teams together on a private server and is not interested in PvP to level up to 50? What other options are there for a team of players who really want to use Fallout 76 more like what Fallout 3/4 would be it if had allowed teams?
meet up, open one launch box each (they work on everyone nearby therefore you will save a lot) and then go and kill super mutants together, you will be surprised how quickly you all will be lvl 50+ ;)
Dont make worry with exp, low lvls exp fast anyway, the guide is msinly for those who need to exp for legendary perks. Use just rewards from feed the ppl event. As ppl to craft u weapon and be in casual team.
today grinded for like 3h and ended up going from lvl 237 to lvl 304 so i had to go get 2 more lvls for nice grind session of 69lvls ;)
I never bother with these to be honest. In the time it takes to farm ingredients, bobbleheads, magazines, etc i would have done two SBQ. If you want xp just shoot lots of stuff in the face.
Then sit at your base for an hour and a half in public lobby.
It’s not even close, mate. You’ll get more XP from one West Tek run on buffs than from 3 queens without them.
@@Deuce4242 I'm not againts xp buffs, i'm just saying you don't need EVERY single one of them. Do the sleep buff, get 10%xp from mamma dolce's canned stew (its free and 2 treasury notes), put inspirational on and you're good to go. No need to run around the map hunting squirrels and such.

I agree, you have to weigh the time spent vs the yielded XP. Should still have the passive ones though, they require no work. Also cranberry relish, berry mentats and brainfungus soup are so quick to make en masse, if you optimize your route and have good with salt, can spend like 1h getting the XP buffs for a whole weekend, and it wont spoil.
