There is immense competition & hence you must start your self study or bank exam preparation as soon as possible.
For getting Job in SBI, You have to prepare for data interpretation, English, GK & Computers, English & Reasoning.
Preparation time may be anything between 6 months to 1 Year.

Bank recruits entry-level management officers through many exams. Generally PSB banks conduct their own exams for PGDBF degree or they recruit PO/MT via IBPS exams. SBI has its own PO exam. if you want to get recruited in private bank then watch this video -
