Seeing this fully animated makes me think that this could have been a Newgrounds flash animation from the early 2000's that I would've watched and thought "this should be its own show!" Considering what came out of this, I'd say that means you brought it to life perfectly.
I feel like other than regular show, this was the more adult type stuff JG wanted to make that he couldn’t due to the kids and teen atmosphere of Cartoon Network. When he pitched regular show’s first episode some of the notes actually had some cuss words in them. So seeing him have fun and reunite with his fellow voice actors with no limits of any kind to make this was very pleasing to watch. I think it’s also fair to say that, the majority of regular shows’s viewers practically grew up and are now here reunited again by JG’s work. It seemed like the stars aligned for me to watch this. It it’s probably the same for y’all too. I was glad to see regular show as part of my childhood, and again find his work: both regular show and now this in my adulthood. Thank you JG, and the animators, for sharing your gift to the world, and making sure everyone has a good time.
This looks absolutely fantastic, I like that you put your own spin on the art style (even if the thick lines looked kinda weird in some shots). What a classic!
Finally, a remake and reanimation of the original, it was literally just a pilot for a now beloved regular show and this video, it’s a reanimation and it’s really awesome
