La differenza più evidente è quella tra il PJ e tutti gli altri. Il primo ha un pelo più di attacco e di evidente somiglianza al Precision, gli altri hanno una risposta più morbida sulle medio basse - un timbro nasale - che li rende una valida alternativa ai classici Fender. Tra Vintera, JMJ e Am Performer io non saprei... nel Mix di una canzone faticherei a distinguerli. Probabilmente ci saranno orecchie più fini delle mie, ma io... valuterei quegli strumenti più per i legni, essenze e curvature manico, che per il sound. Certo è: Mustang + Corde Flat è una grande accoppiata. Come rapporto Q/P il JMJ stravince, Come Flessibilità il Performer, Come Sfizio il Player (meno di 600euro) e vi portate a casa un ottimo basso.

Hey bud, you can give La Nonna a rest by clicking the 'subtitles' icon (second from the left on the bottom right icons in the video) to turn on subtitles - if you click on the nut icon right next to it for settings, you can select to translate automatically to English - does a fair job! hope that helps ;-)

The JMJ is fatter, to me the best tone, As we know, it's very subjective. Thanks for the comparo. I wish I spoke Italian! Sound like you guys are having fun.
It also has flatwounds, so you have to consider that.
Ho un jmj ma devo dire che preferisco il timbro del player, semplicemente perché è più simile al precision, certo gli altri 3 suonano come dovrebbe suonare un mustang con la sua peculiarità, ma amo il precision lol
Tra i tre veri mustang nel jmj ci sento più attacco, nel vintera più aria, il performer è il meno aggressivo e particolare tra i tre ma anche quello che probabilmente può farti suonare in modo più coerente, consistente e solido
Io ho il Mustang PJ, è un basso molto versatile, ci faccio davvero di tutto. Ovviamente con quel pick-up è più un mini Precision che un vero Mustang a livello sonoro.
bellissimo video, stavo proprio valutando l’acquisto di un Mustang. Non potendo chiedervelo in negozio sfrutto biecamente la sezione commenti ma il truss rod per questi modelli (ad eccezione ovviamente del player) si regola senza svitare il manico o è necessario allentarlo? Grazie

Considerando il rapporto qualità prezzo direi che già con il Mustang PJ ci si porta a casa un gran bel mustang... ma io sono di perte avendo un bellissimo PJ total black in edizione limitata! 😅

Summary: test is only tone full open tone and split coil (no single coil of performer and player series). The other differences are the different shape of the neck between the series (view Fender site) and the strings in JMJ signature because are flat.

I have the Vintera and JMJ and are fantastic. First got the Vintera, just for trying some short scale and it got me. Less overtones and strong fundamental fits great on a band context.

Da voi ho acquistato il JMJ che dire, un basso bellissimo e che col suo suono caratteristico esce dal mix in maniera fantastica. Adesso servirebbe un video con un mustang o JMJ o Vintera in accoppiata con fuzz e poi distorsore. Con quelli che secondo voi sono la migliore accoppiata con un mustang.
Ciao stò valutando anche io tra jmj e american performer... lascerei stare il pj .... cosa ti ha convinto di piú tra jmj e l’american? É veramente migliore un messicano signature vs un american?

Interesting. What are those purposes? They both seem very versatile if needed, which do you play and like more?? The first time I picked up the mustang I was like dang, I gotta get one lol Sounds awesome and is literal perfect size
@@gsharpslayer3287 I use the JMJ for Beatles, (excellent for that), blues, Motown stuff, and the American for classic rock, newer stuff that sounds better with round wound strings and the addition of the J-bass neck pick up. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the JMJ, Fender did a great job with this bass.
@@PSA955 ohh man I really do like the sounds of the jmj and the string through body. Nickel wound or steel? I don’t know if people like steel but to me it’s like sliding my finger on a glass window of a car lol and nickel is so smooth
@@PSA955 also got your eye on any other brands or short scales? I’m a big fan of fender but....I think a hollowbody would actually fit the occasional song that needs boomy lows that really move the subwoofers strong on low notes then the fender to get nostalgic tones, tight funky grooves, and those nice highs when you pluck hard or slap. I want to play strictly short scale if possible lol

Amo il tono del PJ, ma tutti gli altri lo superano di leghe sullo Slap.
