Glad you finally got around to finishing this kit Boyd, it has been awhile since you started it. Like you, this is one of my favorite movies. I wish they made a kit of the Spectre rocket that went up to steal the US and Russian space capsules.
They really should have an RC version of this that actually flies! It certainly would be doable and you could hide some of the electronics within a Bond figure if you made him hollow... SPECTRE kept it from happening!

That was FUN! First! The movie scenes... with a gyrocopter and Bell 47’s in aerial combat, HAH! Dats funny! Beautiful model sir! And a great subject. Now I can build one correctly from your example. Thank You 🙏

i built this when it 1st came out, had the same problems with the build,and didnt do the toy fireing missile i made rockets the way you have i put the body together then put the figure in after trimming james up a bit lol. it has brought back some memorys.

I always giggle when I watch the part of the movie you showed at the start because one time watching it we noticed that all the ‘rocket launchers’ and such aren’t in place in some shots, so now we all imitate Q’s super posh English accent and say stuff like ‘Hollow chewbs heah, hollow chewbs heah, and on the side more hollow chewbs, and you know the rest Bond!’
