  • Hey World Creators!
Today we explore some of the best sites in Stuttgart and Baden-Württemberg (the state Stuttgart is located in). There are some things that I left out like the City Library (must visit) and the TV tower because you will see those in your own research. But I do take you to the Porsche museum and hike up the 40 meter tall Killesberg Tower! That is just the start though, because the best part of Stuttgart is its proximity to history! There are SOOO many castles in Baden-Württemberg and we only got to a few of them in the 2 days I had. But I think we definitely made the most of it with visits to Helfenstein Castle, Lichtenstein Castle, Sigmaringen Hohenzollern Castle, and the Grabkapelle! These structures are beautiful and always have incredible views! Some of them even have tours that you can take, I give you the cost in all my descriptions in the video :).
However my FAVORITE part of this trip was my time in Blaubeuren! Blaubeuren is a small small village about an hour from Stuttgart and it is home to the Blautopf (Blue Pot). The Blautopf is the spring that creates the blue river and you will see where it gets its name from. I cannot describe how BLUE & CLEAR the water was! Be sure to add this village to your travel itinerary when you come to Germany, Baden-Württemberg, & Stuttgart! You will also enjoy stopping in at Restaurant Adler for an authentic German meal! I died and went to heaven after trying the schnitzel and kasespatzle!

Chris, Lisa and I just got back from Europe. We started in Munich and went to Oberammergau, Passau, Linz, Krems, Vienna, Salzburg, Slovakia, Budapest, and a bunch of cities in between. We flew from Budapest (the end of our river cruise) to Amsterdam and spent four days there before taking our direct flight home. When you are in Munich, check out the surfing on the river right outside of the main town square. It was so cool. You would love it. It is so unique and your viewers would love it too! Safe travels!

Thanks Paul! That sounds like an amazing itinerary! I have some videos on a lot of those places coming up. In fact, in a few hours the video for Munich will be live and we actually stop at the Eisbachwelle! It is definitely a cool spot! I just need to work on my surfing skills so I can jump in next time... ;) Thanks again for all the support! Love you and your family!

The wave place just outside of old town Munich is at Eisbachwelle. Here are the coordinates on maps: 48.14348° N, 11.58773° E

I didn’t expect Stuttgart to be so green, it looks amazing! Making us regret not visiting more of Germany 😅 Great video as always Chris! 😁

This was filmed in the late June, but yes the whole region of Baden-Württemberg was very green and beautiful! And as you can see... Dotted with castles! Amazing. No doubt you guys will make it back ;) Thanks for watching! 😊
