I hope we as women hear what the men are saying. As a woman i do wish the younger ladies behind me would respect themselves with dress, manners, accountability, and responsibility. When i share with the younger ladies how to represent they don't believe me. They see others in their age category and feel they must do the same to remain competitive. Still i try to talk to my younger sisters because i care about my people. I want the young ladies to keep our culture going long after I am gone. I would the young AA men and women know they were created one for the other by the Father. And to not be fooled by what is on the internet but take their cue from God.
I understand exactly what you're saying. I try to explain these things to my nieces and young cousins and they roll their eyes and call me old-fashioned. It is so hard because the culture tells them one thing and the voices with sense are drowned out by the foolishness.
