- Howdy, fellow gearheads and metal aficionados! 🤖 Ever wondered what it takes to tackle a colossal 3000KG pinion shaft using technology straight out of the history books? 📜 Well, hold onto your hats because the Pakistani Machinists are about to blow your mind with their vintage prowess! 🇵🇰💥
In this jaw-dropping TH-cam extravaganza, we're diving deep into the world of machining, where grit, grease, and a pinch of old-school charm come together like peanut butter and jelly! 🥜✨ Watch in awe as our intrepid machinists fire up their trusty horizontal lathe, ready to shave off chunks of metal with the finesse of a sushi chef! 🍣💪
But wait, there's more! Ever heard of a double helical pinion shaft? Neither had we until these wizards decided to take on the challenge! 🌀 Watch as they twist and turn their way through the metal, creating a masterpiece that'd make Da Vinci himself raise an impressed eyebrow! 🎨👨🎨
Now, hold onto your seats as we switch gears (pun absolutely intended) and head over to an old American machine straight out of Toronto! 🇺🇸🍁 It may be vintage, but boy does it pack a punch! With a flick of a switch and a sprinkle of magic dust, our machinists dive headfirst into cutting teeth with the precision of a neurosurgeon! ⚙️🔬
But hey, Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was this pinion shaft! It took these dedicated maestros a whopping 21 days to complete the project! 🗓️🕰️ From dawn till dusk, they toiled away, fueled by nothing but determination and cups of chai! ☕️🔧
So, buckle up and join us on this wild ride through time and technology, where the past meets the present in a symphony of sparks and steel! 🎶✨
Don't forget to hit that like button, subscribe for more epic machinist adventures, and remember, if it ain't broke, don't fix it-unless you're a machinist, then you can fix anything! 🛠️💥 - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
We may have modern machines but the principle is still the same keep up the good work 😊
You should put old engine oil on your parts to keep them from rusting and it will improve the cut quality 😊

Shit happens every day, but the good thing is that at the end of the day, almost all workers are still alive.
Love the formal jacket “safety apparel” at 0:33. Very classy worker!😂
Im a machinist in America and I wear and old sportcoat in the shop. It has a lot of handy pockets. I’m betting they have them because formal office wear is out of style in America and tons of it is going to Goodwill. A lot of them end up packed into bales and sold to rag buyers by the ton. Then they get shipped overseas and sold. There’s a guy who pioneered the process and he’s a multi millionaire now. I started because I thought it would be funny to wear an Armani suit jacket to work in a machine shop, but I found them to be very comfortable and handy. I eventually moved on to a Harris Tweed light wool one from Brooks Brothers of London
E o dono e o filho do dono, a peça e cara 💰💰 😂😂😂
A peça é tão cara que colocaram o dono e o filho do dono para fazer 😂😂😂😂
The goat at 39:28 looks ready for a job
Yes, Jamaican Curry Goat with Roti 😂
Thanks, good video & First time on any of these videos that any heat treat & hardness testing has been shown, ever, knew it was an important factor & couldn't believe that it was always ignored.
Did I see an actual goat at the end there?
why don't thwy remove the chips andclean while the machine is working?
I hear you; I have worked in a few machine shops and that is the nastiest place I have ever seen.
Once they've invented shovel and broom.
Probably in the next millennium.
Too lazy
I'm assuming the pinion gears are used in the sugar-cane pulp industry.

100 years ago is only 1924
And?
@@vintagerecordambassadeur4098 they made it sound like 100 years is a very long time ago,it's not.i'm almost 80 so 1924 does not see that far off.
Этот вал весит меньше 3 тонн. Примерно 1 тонну
Wo ist die Krawatte ?
A losely hanging tie next to a working lathe would be a safety hazard, y'know... ;-)
Great video.
whats with the fuckin goat .... lol
The start that guy doesn't know how to measure 🤣🤣
4.42 its boris the bastard
No, it's Karena Macarena
Why would you lay down the finished product unprotected by wood, etc. on the concrete floor? 😆😆😆😆 And what is a goat doing inside a work shop??? 🤔🤔🤔 I don't want to know it. 😆😆😆😆
Yes, they always throw finished products onto the dirt floor, as if tables are illegal.
How else would you get the chair under it to lift it??
So….why do you really care. And what are you going to do about it….since you seem to be concerned
Aap ne shuru se akhir tak (sab kuchh) pehli 2 minutes se kam waqt me dikha diya, ye aysa hai jaise suspense film ka end koi pehle dikha de, ab koi pagal hoga jo itna lamba video dekhega, samajh me nahin aata aap logon ko ye kya bimari lagi hai ke jhalkiyan dikhane ke chkkar me video ka maza kharab kar dete hain.

shit ole
Sh1t everywhere. Turnings in the lathe, on the lathe and around the lathe. Why do the operators insist on using an extension bar to tighten everything.
They're not big guys & lotta friction from OLD worn threads.
@alro2434 They even do it on new looking kit.
@@georgedeaney7270 Habit, I guess.
And why use adjustable wrench,
@@randythompson2681 Maybe that's all they have.
