When Ms. Clark was signed to be in the 1969 Musical version of “Goodbye Mr. Chips” She and Tony Hatch had written the song with the sole purpose of it being used as the Theme for the movie. But Leslie Bircusse and John Williams who had written the score for the movie refused to let it be used in any way with the film since neither of them had a hand in writing it and didn't want to share any music credits. It's on an LP she recorded in 71 called "Conversations in the Wind" that was not released till 2000. I think the song is beautiful and that it would have been perfect in the movie.@@ptishakur9000
