I had a great weekend at Allegheny. I grew up in the woods often.. & never encountered a bear on a trail until yesterday. They must be more used to human scent. We initially startled eachother. Then went our separate ways. Thank you for the tips. I have been using on X.. and plan on riding every forest road / trail that's not inexplicably blocked off. That's the goal. Thanks!
I thought another difference between economy and premium was that economy is duck down and premium is goose down. I have two HG underquilts. A 30 and a 10 degree. Very satisfied with both.
Yeah not quite as good as Bald Eagle, but some nice 4H exploring and primitive camping. It’s great to just roam. I still haven’t plotted all the trails in Gaia yet.

I've heard they've been more active on the West of the reservoir this year by FR160 where the marked primitive sites are.
I'm just over the PA line. It's been a fun two weeks in the world of offroading 😂😂

Nice looks like Allegheny has some cool stuff to explore. I’ve really been wanting to hit Cook SF too
