i think everyone knows the GK1 is the best air pistol ever made to date ...pure German FORM and FUNCTION like a BMW 3 series, its selling out all over the world and some of us watched the journey from 2 years ago.
I bought a viper from you a little while ago, and have a GK1 on order from you now, both very nice pistols, seems like Huben has edge in power. Keep up the good work.
It is actually air pressure on the cylinder lever lock, not spring pressure. The reason so many people are breaking the cylinder lever locks on the GK1s unlike the K1s is because the pistols are unregulated, so the pressure against the lever is directly correlated with reservoir pressure, not a lower regulated pressure.
Great info guys. I have the GK1 for a couple weeks now and really like it- two questions: 1. What is the torx screw on the top of the gun for? 2. What is the best way to mount a red dot on top of the gun towards the rear. The dove tail on the shroud does not extend beyond the magazine and I would like to mount my sight farther back. Thanks!
I’ve currently got the Viper on pre order because the GK1 was already sold out.. I like the power & sleek style of the GK1. The disassembly & ease of de gassing for the Viper is better. Also the exchangeable magazines I think is a big plus for the Viper also. Although 19 shots in the GK1 (cal.22) is great also in the revolver cylinder style. I can see some much needed improvements for both designs & I hope they make changes & bring out an updated version in the future. I really think both products should have come with or have an accessory for a picatinny rail for any lights / lasers people want to use as these could be great pest control pistols.
Great info, my GK1 .22 is running great, and yes read the very nice manual, not like the trash that comes with budget guns LOL. P.S. NE AG service has been fantastic ! and got the bark tamed, so no ear muffs unless it is cold out :)
Lots of great infornation, but lousy audio quality. You guys need label mics. Also when degassing the Huben, when the tank becomes cold, that is physics in play, not chemistry.
@edwardschlosser1 In Merriam-Webster dictionary....Boyle's law: [noun] a statement in physics: the volume of a gas at constant temperature varies inversely with the pressure exerted on it. But I concede that thermodynamic principles can also be discussed in chemistry.
Thank you for explaining the burping of the evanix- I found it so dissapointing when it happened to me. Have you been able to see if the guns can get damaged from burping? Great video, can't wait for the GK1
No damage happens, it's just a fact of what happens with the design. Besides high-pressure air gun should be shot in the high-pressure air zone. If you were in the high-pressure air zone you will never get to the burping area. A similar but different thing happens with the GK1, the magazine needs 10 MPA to rotate underneath that pressure the gun will jam. Not a defect, just facts on how the gun operates.
I just found this channel . Can any of you tell me a brand of airgun in a large bore that is reliable, multi shot, accurate out to 150 yards And does not leak air . I have now burned a lot of money searching for the AEA or Bin Tac big bore for deer hunting so far and that company is lost. If that is as good as they get I would be sad. Do the Rattlers leak air? Can i leave them filled through a season of deer hunting and not see a massive drop in my tank? Are the Hammers by Umarex good? Do they leak air. There are a lot of Airgun people on the Tube. They all seem to be working for the people who make the guns and you never actually get any real reporting on the guns leaking air or troubles with them . Do you guys take trade in guns? I have an s45 with duel tanks I am selling right now and its got a custom AR 15 grip on it and carbon fiber forward tank. Its shot about 200 rounds total .

Also bought a Huben GK-1 v3 from these 2 guys. Very helpful support along the way after too. I can now rob a bank , to fund my new addiction .
