@@padraig4530 yea it’s making a comeback but it’s better to just bite the bullet and do the CPCS, a lot of highway sites will only take CPCS and I would say NPORS is more for people who already have experience on machines, I think a total novice might struggle when doing a NPORS
You need to book a novice excavator course, it’s a 10 day training course, do the CPCS one and not a NPORS one. It’s around £2500 for the training and test.
Seem a good machine driver would love to have da ticket for it I can operate them to load wagons and used to do it now and again I was on da tippers for about 18 years around Manchester but now live in Castlebar County Mayo since 2021
@@AndyTurner-e4l from the 3 that you named Hitachi is the best, for me Volvo are the best but that’s my opinion about Volvo. The top machines in the world tho are Cat, Volvo, Hitachi and Komatsu, a lot of people will agree with me on that one.
Been operating these machines all my life. Good and realistic footage of what really goes on. All the best in the future and keep operating!

Wouldn't a jcb backhoe be quicker to load wagons
No, definitely not

all machines are good its the operator that makes em stand out
How do excavator operators know how deep they are digging?
Just guess my freind, uless you have gps but not need for shifting a pile of muck.
On muck shift work just go to ground level
