- Daytona Beach Bike Week, thousands of people make the trek cross-country to hang out with other motorcycle enthusiasts in sunny Florida. For many, it's an annual pilgrimage with their two-wheeled friends, to the land of fun and sun. However, some motorcycle riders have the desire to go but may have heard some discouraging stories to keep them from attending the rally. In today's video, I'm speaking to my two-wheeled and three-wheeled riders who are wondering if it is safe, and should I go to Daytona Beach Bike Week?

Peace my fellow TALL bro .. I'm DJ_JSyence 6'5'' .. I'm from NYC lived in Daytona 5 years .. I WANNA SAY THANK YOU for showing the "BETHUNE" side of things .. sad that so many people come here from all over the world year after year and never go across the bridge the whats sadly known as "The Black Side" .. oddly if you look into Red-lining in any neighborhood you can see that areas are separated by race and class .. This has kept people separated, but when we RIDE that shouldn't be a thing .. if anyone stays on MAIN STREET they missing out on the best FOOD and extra LOVE !! God married 2008 Daytona bike week. Right on the beach had a great time went back. 2010, so had a great time. Just gotta be calm don't drink and have a good time
We normally go to Panama City for thunder beach which is much better. I know that is subjective but there are some things that are objective. It is more spread out so you can ride and see things, the cops are much cooler there well for cops, and not everything you do will cost a fortune. Not saying everyone shouldn’t do Daytona once but don’t sleep on thunder beach.
Made the trip from Missouri for the first time last year and had a blast, be sure to go to the speedway, Go!!!!!!

Went last year had blast, and thanks to you on the tip of going to Bethune Cookman, gonna miss this year as we are looking for another place ride to and see new things, but Daytona is on the list for a future trip.

Hey Tall, I live in Orlando and I’ll be there. Hopefully I can find you this year and meet you. Most people don’t realize that good rides are all over the state. If you haven’t been to Key West, that’s a must-do ride! The Overseas Highway to KW has 42 bridges over the turquoise water and it’s absolutely beautiful!
Tall, I have been to Daytona for 14 years in a row and have not done some of the things on this list. Thanks I will be checking everyone of them off this year. See you on McLeod Street on Friday.

Other side of the main street bridge is good ride where the Indian dealer is and llyodz has dyno set up out back, vendors across st.

St. Augustine is a great place, oldest city in America. Space coast oh yea thats home for me. If u get a chance watch a night launch they are the best. Space coast harley biggest dealer is usa.

Teach us how to do a burnout please. Great tips Tall on things to do during Bike Week. Also keep in mind that around Disney the traffic most likely will be terrible. And there are toll roads.
on the fence. hopefully my new to me pursuit will be delivered that week. but I might have to give it a good shake down before I take a trip down. being on the side of the road on a bike SUCKS!
Drunks, mayhem, and traffic.. Not an enjoyable destination for me.. Florida is a decent place to ride in the winter, but its 100% a boring place to ride unless you like putting around and revving your engine for people to look at you.. Or walking miles and miles to get free stickers from vendors..

@aaron___6014 Thats because you dont live in South Florida. Ride around downtown Fort Lauderdale amd Miami and along the beaches and the inner cities. You will change your thoughts. You can city hop all through Florida and its always something different.

Whenever I get over 2 Daytona Beach. I always stop at the kale cafe. It is the most amazing food i've ever eaten in my life.

There is a sandwich shop in St. Augustine called Lobstah on a Roll... great fish sandwiches...check it out...
I went last year solo, I had great time meeting new people, can't make it this year will be back 2025...oh still riding my Victory Cross Country

One thing I can say is, it’s a lot of cool looking bikes and a ton of money on two wheels down there during bike week!
What about all the motorcycle racing at the super speedway. When I tell people about that they don't know eneythang about it. That's why Daytona bike week got started. They even have a Harley Indian baggage race

Truth be told! You can ride across the whole state of Florida in an hour. More in 24! Excellent destination count down. Be and stay grateful! We are very blessed to be able to enjoy this lifestyle. Deuces!
Florida may not be very wide from West to East, but even at its thinnest point, its over 100miles wide..

Been going since the late 90s...its nothing like what it was during the golden days..a lot less riders now.

Daytona Motor Speedway?
My least favorite rally. There is nowhere to ride to in the area. The A1A loop is the only ride out there. Flat and straight. Rossmeyer’s H-D sold to a new guy. The dominant mc in this area is also nowhere near as “friendly” as at other rallies. I’ll leave it at that.

Dayton is over blown, over hyped and a waste of time anymore... compound that with the police harassment... its not worth it.
There are other rallys in Florida that is much more "user friendly" for most riders. Leesburg comes to mind.
