We gave up on Wizards because after creation if you click edit in detail page as you would if you needed to update lots of field you're taken back to the wizard layout and fields only! There should be a way to end the wizard and get a standard full edit! Kiosks are much more useful and practical in my opinion
@@JohnJBloomfield A workaround we have implemented is to create a new layout and create a wizard for that layout and once the record is created you change (with code) to the default layout (which has no wizard assigned to it). This means you have the ability to create using the wizard and edit not using wizards
I have noted one drawback when you have wizards enabled. Some fields in my case in the Deals does not allow editing from the details page, which forces users to edit the record. If those fields are on page 3 or further of the wizard or not in the wizard it causes frustration. I would have love a feature where you can state if the wizard is only for create and not for edit

Hi John - agreed! I actually misspoke on this topic in the video. We also wish that there was a way to encode a wizard to only run on creation.

Hi Waldo! Agreed - the good news is that more and more fields (subforms recently) are allowing edits on the details page.
