The screaming in Mistfall Have you ever been in Mistfall? Then you've probably hear the screaming. Of course it could be an animal such as an elk, but if you listen closely you can actually sometimes hear the screaming. In Halloween 2019 sso posted a video about three spooky legends from Jorvik. One was about mistfall: There once was a girl who was locked in the fire spotter tower. She was screaming a lot, and legend says she went mad in there. When the rangers found her, they discovered that the door was locked from the inside. Maybe she was surrounded by some animals, or a beast? Nobody knows. If you go to Mistfall, high up in the mountains, you can still hear her cries.. Now that video says a lot. Maybe it could be the girl who got stuck in the tower, who you hear all the time? Nobody really has talked a lot about this, but I find it really interesting. Yeah it took pretty long time for me to write this lol, but that's my Mistfall theory.
These actually gave me chills. I don't usually get scared because I've heard a lot and I watch a lot of creepypastas but omg these were really creepy x)
The first one made me freak out because my home stable is in Mistfall and I'm like oh man I need to move HS. Then when I was watching the unfortunate dews' one my computer glitched out and then back in when the farmer came and I nearly screamed.
Honestly, I was sad you stopped telling them.. Don't forget the Glue Man story... Gave me shivers the Mistfall one did, Always wondered what the screams were about.
Here is a story I made up About 100 years ago on Jorvik, there was a legend about a rider and horse. When they went on a ride , a storm had came and trapped them in forest. After the storm had passed, people went looking for the both of them. But when they searched the forest, only the horse was found. Nobody knows what happened to the girl and her horse suddenly lost trust in humans. 10 years had passed and the horse had passed away during all that time that passed. During a storm in the same woods, a group of riders were lost trying to make it back to the stables when they all stopped frozen from what they saw. It was the horse that had died years ago but it was a ghost. The horse still had its tack on but was wandering around as if it was looking for something. The riders had eventually made it back but were spooked from what they saw. So every Halloween, if you wander in the Green Dale forest when its start getting dark, you can see the ghost of the horse wandering around, still searching for its lost rider. Hope you guys like it! I think Maya feeds the animals at Dew's Farm. After all, her last name is Dew, and she never mentions her family. Maybe she is secretly trying to keep the farm "Haunted" so no one claims her family's land, even after everyone else in her family has passed on, or went "Missing." She could be worried that Ms. Drake, the GED lady in Jarl, will ruin her family's farm. Because someone in Maya's family did work for Ms. Drake, so maybe the farm was gifted to them after they had lost their original farm in Epona. But when Ms. Drake fired one of the Dews, she took almost all of them hostage, but not Maya. It could be that Ms. Drake didn't know about Maya, as she might have been working at Moorland. But when she stopped hearing from her family, she went to the farm, only to find it abandoned. Maybe she suspected that Ms. Drake had something to do with it, and wants to keep the land for her family. So she goes to feed the animals, hoping that it will keep people from entering the land. Sorry this is so long, but that's my theory on Dew's Farm.
Ooh, awesome theory! When I read this, I had this thought in the back of my mind that maybe it WAS Maya who caused the 'disappearance' of her family. Maybe she did it because she wanted the land for something in the future, maybe if she ever needed a fast source of money in the future. Maybe she's been hiding under a sweet facade this whole time... Yeah, my brain goes to dark places.

But her mother had just disappeared even though she was just there at shore not to long ago. The girl desperately tried to swim to shore scared and looking for her mother. So... i have one BIG question for sso and the community. WHY IS SSO MESSING WITH GARNOK THIS YEAR??? I mean, he is in the trail ride, the roller coaster and a LOT more than that if you look closely. and what he says in the trail ride is VERY strange. like... i swear to god he is coming soon. as soon as the whole northern mistfall is done and they release mystic, HE IS GOING TO BE HERE!!!! His time is coming and coming quick! if they are already throwing blank hints at our faces, idk about you, but I think he is coming soon.

Rumor has it...a wealthy family used to live in the castle, when the gate was never opened to go into the valley...locked away.One day, the parents went to Capewest fishing village and they found their children,gone.The parents never found the children and were locked away in a land slide now forever blocking the bridge to the castle,even if they can.No one every dared to move the rocks..because right after he sun goes down,victims hear the screams of their children and even have said that they saw pale ...white...children ...laughing in front of the bridg..they say the victim comes to close and gets pulled in by the children...never to be seen again.Hope you enjoyed! My friend was once doing missions in mistfall when she suddenly got teleported in to that creepy thing in epona (you know that thing at the beach) so that kinda matches the first story

Hmm, well my thought when coming up with these was that the most terrifying thing is the unknown - that we don't know what happened to the people in the stories. It's especially scary if you feel like you could be next, because then you don't know what you're up against and have no way of preparing for what's to come 👀

I have a thory that the summer house in hollowwoods is addondand because it burned to flames with the owners in the house sleep at night and they think that they're hearing these sounds because they're children hate them... the sounds were like the cries of pain and fear... that all I'm not spolling it for you!

About the Dew, there has been an update. I had a quest for Maya who is a Dew. I had a Winter quest with her that is why she is working at Moorland Stable and She is also working as our stable hand at all locations just Like us she is raising money to help start repairing the old Dew's farm

Oooh, that's interesting! 👀 when I made the video about the Buttergoods being vampires, I thought that maybe the Winterwells are werewolves, because those were the two lifestates mentioned by Scott and the Buttergoods and Winterwells have been rivals for generations. If the Buttergoods are vampires, it would make sense for the Winterwells to be werewolves. I haven't looked that much into it though, so I don't know if there's anything supporting that theory 🤔
I've heard rumors the squirrel from the Halloween race was originally from mistfall roaming the land until it was captured my the headless horseman, that is, until yidris released it but buried it under mistfall. After it was buried the ghost came out to take the people new to mistfall down with it... But our character hasn't been caught or at least, not yet ._.

I don’t know if this helps, but there’s a sso book (only available in Swedish currently) called ‘four tales from Jorvik’ from each soul rider. Linda meets galloper Thompson in her story. I haven’t read it tho. -So you might find something there 😊

Fun fact: when I waa filming there for this video, just minding my business and all, I suddenly heard a ghost (you know the little ghosts from last year) and I lowkey got scared of my own made up story 😂
I know I’m late but heres a little story about fort Maria! Ever heard of fort Maria and why it’s locked probably not but I’m here to tell you. Some riders were riding around new hill crest they were teenagers goofing off. One said “let’s go up to the place, fort Maria!” And they all agreed and went up, suddenly they heard someone singing they looked behind them and saw something they would never forget they saw a girl who was pale white saying “Go away or he will come.. in two seconds” they didn’t go away and they got pulled. They were never to be seen again.. People say they still hear the screams of those teenagers since then no one goes there and whoever does will be killed just like those teenagers.. DONT GO. I've never heard the screams, and I've never seen Elk in Mistfall either.

Here is a story I made up

Actually the stable girl is a a Dew :D So she is alive the real story of the the forgotten stable is that their stable is burned down.

Oooh, that's interesting! 👀 when I made the video about the Buttergoods being vampires, I thought that maybe the Winterwells are werewolves, because those were the two lifestates mentioned by Scott and the Buttergoods and Winterwells have been rivals for generations. If the Buttergoods are vampires, it would make sense for the Winterwells to be werewolves. I haven't looked that much into it though, so I don't know if there's anything supporting that theory 🤔
I've heard rumors the squirrel from the Halloween race was originally from mistfall roaming the land until it was captured my the headless horseman, that is, until yidris released it but buried it under mistfall.
After it was buried the ghost came out to take the people new to mistfall down with it... But our character hasn't been caught or at least, not yet ._.

I do find Galloper Thompson's backstory very interesting though, and do want to make a theory about him... It would be nice if I was able to finish it for next week, since it's halloween and all, but I can't make any promises 🙊
I don’t know if this helps, but there’s a sso book (only available in Swedish currently) called ‘four tales from Jorvik’ from each soul rider. Linda meets galloper Thompson in her story. I haven’t read it tho. -So you might find something there 😊

I know I’m late but heres a little story about fort Maria!
Ever heard of fort Maria and why it’s locked probably not but I’m here to tell you. Some riders were riding around new hill crest they were teenagers goofing off. One said “let’s go up to the place, fort Maria!” And they all agreed and went up, suddenly they heard someone singing they looked behind them and saw something they would never forget they saw a girl who was pale white saying “Go away or he will come.. in two seconds” they didn’t go away and they got pulled. They were never to be seen again..
People say they still hear the screams of those teenagers since then no one goes there and whoever does will be killed just like those teenagers..
