EXACTLY!!!! I SAY IT ALL THE TIME. I practice Shotokan karate. I always said that “ you have to cross train. Every martial art has to be cross trained to be complete.
I'll be honest - I was surprised at the judo success, but it'll take more than that to convince me. As soon as they came up against a fighter like Miko, they didn't stand a chance.
I think Judoka practices with the Gi on. The "majority" of Judo Techniques were performed by grasping the Gi ... Modern kickboxing fighters wear nothing for Judoka to hold on to throw !!!
A particular martial art is just a lens into the spirit and mechanics of fighting. You can't go through life living life with only one lens or point of view. I practice judo because it's beautiful and challenging in it's own way, and it has opened my eyes to how beautiful and big the world is in the spirit of fighting for fun. I'll be curious to try kyokushin and boxing in the future.
I would have liked to watch a third match with Mirko the kickboxer against another judoka . The power of Mirko’s punches seemed too difficult to overcome by anyone .
My friend has a 5th dgree balck belt in judo, taught by a judoka master from Japan, which made him better at judo and was a pro kickboxer...I'd like to pick his brain, but he moved to another country...For shits and giggles, he also has 3rd degree black belt in shorin ryu karate ( btw the best for of karate PERIOD which only a 3rd is more impressive, ) a 1st degree black belt in full contact TKD, was proficient at boxing, and AGAIN was a pro kick boxer...Notice how his skills get more impressive ?? Of course I could go on and on, but just for shits and giggles...One point is, he used the most powerful punch, the okinowan punch...Food 4 thought !!
@@angel-rq4fz You are wrong. I practiced judo in Poland for 3yrs/5days/week/ 2 hrs a day. Karate Kyokushin for 15 years. Judo is limited jiu-jitsu, featuring showy techniques which are nonetheless very effective jiu-jitsu techniques. Judo is extremely well-adapted to a street fight, I used it many times in the street ( Canada and Poland, about 50 or 60 fights, 2 lost ) and... was very pleased. I finished almost every fight under 5 - 10 seconds. As a grappling art judo and Japanese jiu-jitsu are most probably #1 most effective in the street. The key is: you have to impose your style of fighting on your opponent. If a judo master like the one in the video, tries to box an opponent without having any boxing experience, I am simply speechless at his stupidity... Impose immediately your style of fighting to gain dominance...
ground fighting method, just for sport. You will die in a real fight, it's not fair to do muaythai with judo, let alone use judo rules. if you want to fight with muaythai, use muaythai rules
Traditional judo also includes strikes..real judo isn't ijf's judo for competition..and obviously it has arm bars!!! If don't know , bjj Is only judo's ne-waza /katame-waza. Gracies made a marketing operation with the knowledge that Maeda (judoka) taught them

The judoka fighting against maneuf is not luck but pure skills
I'll be honest - I was surprised at the judo success, but it'll take more than that to convince me. As soon as they came up against a fighter like Miko, they didn't stand a chance.
"Judo practitioner"
It's called Judoka. Short and simple.
No , is called OUCHIMAMA.😂😂😂😂
The guys in white sleeping pajamas doesn’t look like he knows how to fight lol
Buakaw is the clickbait
So there ya go,ot depends on the practioner ,punches are hard to catch but you dont always have to catch the punch to stop it ,living proof
I don't think it adds anything to show the same strike two or three times in quick succession. It just interrupts the flow.
I think Judoka practices with the Gi on. The "majority" of Judo Techniques were performed by grasping the Gi ... Modern kickboxing fighters wear nothing for Judoka to hold on to throw !!!
Millions of judo throws still used in mma tho, even nate Diaz did an uchi Mata with no grips😂 it's all about momentum and leverage
There is something special about judo that makes it a complete and superior martial art.
This is why you need to learn all aspects of fighting, striking, kicking, grappling,,etc..
Singing , dancing and cooking .
Ballet, Rumba, hip hop
😂😂 Te equivocas ,si aprendes boxeo ¡Solo boxeo! Si aprendes judo ....solo judo ...

Mirco is ruthless 😔
I would have liked to watch a third match with Mirko the kickboxer against another judoka . The power of Mirko’s punches seemed too difficult to overcome by anyone .
Melvin is also a MMA fighter.
Mirko is exciting to watch

Judo in blue shirt is good..he know how to use judo in real situation..judo train to throw opponent, basically they have strong body..
Judo is the best if you don't get punched

Winning the beast 💀
In Russian judo means... Победа ловкости...над грубой силой... 😊 🌻
First 😎 kickboxer was a warrior 🪖
Why so many repetitions of scenes, you fool?
yeah, like we have 5 second memory loss?
The overturn throw on the first fight is sweet to watch
On a Street... maybe 😏😼🤔
👍👏👏👏👏😯😯😯good fighters
Dumb commentary. It's not about the art, it's about tenacity, strength, skills of fighter who gets the breakthrough moment
Hito Yoshida , vergüenza total .
Not 🚫 a Master 😔
Judo 💓
Pure click bait no buakaw
That is skill not luck. AND it's called an arm lock.

❤
That wasnt luck, manhoef refused to learn grappling setiously.
I can't understand it:
the guys spent years practicing judo and - once in a fight - never try to use it.
???
Because is not adapted for fight , is just sport .
Even though it is/was a martial art.
@@angel-rq4fzyou should still use it in a fight. Isn’t boxing a sport? You definitely can still use it in a fight.

Luck!?!😂😂😂. Worst commentary ever🎉
まやなは😎
ヌル山出てるわ。胸糞悪い。
He is NOT doing Judo. Arm bar ? High kicks ? Roundhouse punches? This is fake ? It is a mixed of BJJ, boxing, taekwando and what... ?
