It's a great game and wish I would have started playing sooner.
There are mods that unlock the road trains in all states. Giving you more options for the longer vehicles

Just got into ATS and si glad I decided to look up some money making methods, not bad making about 19k at level 9 per delivery, went ahead and dished out about 77 for some of the other states cause I'm getting tired of California (of course messed up and put my HQ in LA and hate the slow interstate speeds) gonna upgrade my perk for long distance to 3 next so I can get longer distance deliveries and really start making money
I'd take long haul all the way to level 4 or 5 so you can experience some really nice paydays.

Oh that's cool, I knew you could change trailer sizes but I didn't know it affects the amount of pay!? Cool cool cool thanks. I'm always doing these long travels for the best pay. Didn't know I could be missing out on bigger cash!? .
literally all you need is high value cargo, urgent delivery and a low boy; there is no other trailer that compares to lowboy and lowboy variations witch is kinda boring. i was hoping to unlock super rare amunition cargo for insulated refrigerated trailers by getting all hazard qualifications, but no, only fireworks that does not compare to the pricing of double boomlifts on a low boy, man we need some more variety in the end game and manual trailer locking should give exp and be part of midle game forward
And add different cargo for each player on convoy when heading to a destination. Such as an off road dump truck that needs to be hauled in pieces. One person haul the wheels, one person haul the dump bed, so on and so forth. It would be more diverse instead of 8 sets of tires for an off road dump truck🤣
So should i go for “wooden lowboy” or should i go for “ wooden lowboy double”
Yeah my workers are only averaging 2 to 4k a day. But I'm averaging around 62k a day😅. They are slowly building up stats I've noticed.. but damn they need to quick sleeping and pick up before I totally leave em in the dust! And fire their asses lol
Also, dump points in OTD (at least three).
Important and Urgent deliveries pay heavier.

I don't know why I waited soo long to start playing ATS. It's a great game that allows me to have a bit of a break and recharge from Farm Sim.

I unlocked gas and explosives but I’m many trips in and still not getting any jobs for it. Maybe because I need a bigger truck ?
Is it possible that the truck you own won't be able to handle double trailers on some steep uphill routes? Or will the game warn you or prevent you from trying.
I don't believe the game will warn you. I would be cautious in the mountain regions until you have a truck that has good pulling power.
For heavy loads, the game warns you and let’s you check your truck.
What about using your own trailer?
ngl didnt know pulling a double or triple trailer gives you more money in some cases if not all

just take a single long trailer, keep in mind that a double will earn more xp when parking.
does anyone know the best thing to sell on this game by using job dispatcher whats the best type of cargo you can sell?
is this patched? i changed the trailer count but it dosent do anything to the price
Honestly not sure. I haven't played ATS in a few months.
I have 1.47 and it still changes, som areas I can even do Rocky Doubles, though it seems like Turnpikes are never showing up, even though some states are legal.
Thing is with playing with an economy mod. Is that sure you're getting more money for the trip but that also means using more fuel as your pulling a heavier load. Also be sure your truck is also up to the task of pulling it. Also, double and triple trailers are not legal in all states. but if it's the case you're in a state it is just check your route to make sure it doesn't go through states that they are not legal. Like California for example. It could mean adding hundreds of miles onto your trip. Cause if you don't the first time you stop to weigh the truck for a check you will get hit with an illegal trailer fine. Also, I find it better to adjust routes to avoid going through cities and backroads. Even if it means adding on a few hundred miles. Cause you will make up that distance quicker at interstate speeds than doing the slower speeds and getting stuck at lights in cities. Saves some fuel too. This works to some extent in ETS2. Thing is most generally larger cities in the US have bipass routes much like how the devs redid Vegas. Just the GPS will put you going through the city spite it being quicker to go on the interstate. Also, in Vegas trucks are not allowed on the Las Vegas Strip.
How are you earning 100k per jobs when I’m only making about 13k if I’m lucky? Is it because I barely started?
It’s to do with your level and skills. Every time you level up, you get an option to add skills as well. These give you added $ and xp boosts to different types of cargo.
At the very beginning, youre restricted to shorter distance jobs.

@@doglover136_ as far as I know there isn't a specific way to get different types of runs. Try stopping into new businesses and see what they have available.

Does not work for boats, cars, nor gas/oil. Grrrrrrr.
Unfortunately there are some runs you can not increase the amount being delivered.
