It’s been several years since I’ve been to WSIKF but but I do miss it. That would’ve been a really low attended weekday, but if that was a weekend, that is nothing in comparison to the attendance that it used to be even four or five years ago. I have chatted with Scott and watched him fly, but never flown in line with him. I appreciate his calling and his simplicity to it. I enjoy his passion, watching him call and fly. Thanks for producing this video, it was nice to see several friends who I haven’t seen in quite some time.

So, I did see you!! I thought I was just having a "wishful thinking" moment.
It was late afternoon on Friday when I thought I saw you. You were just a few steps off of the southside of the Bolstad beach access road when I got a glimpse of a bright yellow pair of sunglasses but you had your back towards me and you were really involved in chatting with several fliers. I was standing about 10 feet behind you and couldn't see your face. I stood there for a few minutes thinking you might turn around to look at the kites flying in the north field but you didn't so I convinced myself that I was being silly and I continued on my way back to our campsite at the end of the road.
Maybe our paths will cross before the end of this festival but, if not, have a safe journey to your next adventure.
