BRICS Currency Announced! Is it Gold Backed?

- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 27 เม.ย. 2024
- In this week’s video, we look at Russia’s announcement of an official BRICS currency. There has been speculation and rumors of this currency for some time, and one major theory is that it would be backed by a basket of commodities including gold. However, the Kremlin recently announced they have almost completed a digital currency based on blockchain technology. Backed by gold or not, if a new BRICS currency becomes internationally adopted for trade, the U.S. Dollar will lose value. If U.S. Dollar’s value decreases, we expect the price of gold to increase. While there is no official launch date yet, dismantling the dollar will take time and we don’t expect it to go down without a fight. In the meantime, we will keep an eye out for any official launch date and stay ready to keep viewers informed.

Imagine this scenario..
1 BRICS coin = 1gm of Gold
100 Dollar= 1 Banana
Imagine a world where there is no USD and that we all submit under control by the ELITES under an underlying one world digital currency where each government will have a digital stable coin but all of the movement will be through a few specific cbdcs.
😂😂
Maybe 1/2 of a banana.
😂😂😂
100 USD = 1 piece of Toilet paper.
As an American, I feel we collectively need to be taught a valuable lesson about money.
US paper currency is worth nothing as US print it like toilet paper
Yeah, our politicians need to be taught that lesson first.
The only lesson that you all collectively follow and practice, utterly influenced by the owners of ninety percent of the dollars is that, dollars get precedence over human lives. When it comes to earning dollars, even genocides are acceptable by your decision makers , with you all ready to kill as many to uphold such decisions. Look at the history of your nation in the last two centuries.
The lesson that you need to learn is dollar is only a human solution to circumvent the problem of double coincidence in a barter . It is humanity that must come first always and every time, even if it makes you stand in the street to beg . And humanity shall definitely teach you this lesson, for a civilization is a human struggle, not a dollar struggle
If BRICS have it ways, the US will not only be taught a valuable lesson but a very painful one. Most Americans live like frogs in a well. A storm is coming and yet all seems to see clear blue sky from where they are in the well.
You mean our politicians do! Especially the part of money DOESN'T grow on trees!
Good for BRICS. Besides, if the US is really that great a BRICS currency shouldn't cause it any concern.
LOL, yeah you are an American!
US doesn’t care about a BRICS currency. Using a currency with countries who have shown they can’t be trusted would never compete with the US.
It simply won't this is plain chest puffing you're better off trying to teach 5 billion people a new language at the same time
A complete collapse of the us dollar means no one will trade good and services in the us dollar also means America starved to death
Gold is the only tier one asset. Hold it!
Million of people got rich from other assets
BTC will flip gold, then go to Z E R O.
Gold was 3-4 times considered illegal throughout the history.
Zimbabwean Zig is gaining power against dolar. This is amazing
Im cool with zag money
Zigety Zag,what's in the bag.
I'm very happy.
BRICS is a huge threat to the USD
🤣😂🤣😂 the exchange rate is 0.003…….don’t think you know the definition of gaining.
Any currency against the worthless dollar is a better option. We simply print paper that is backed by literally nothing. My bad, its backed by a $35 Trillion deficit.
As opposed to what non-fiat currency, exactly? Are you dense?
it's backed by blood sweat and tear, of every people including american citizen
Exactly what other currency is backed by anything. Also you gotta be dumb to think China who wanted to invade Taiwan because it TSMC or Russia who invaded Ukraine because they were so scared of them joining NATO is gonna actually give you their gold. You’d have a better chance swimming across the Pacific Ocean.
It’s backed by the fact you can use it to buy basically anything
@@hiatuszero the dollar is not backed by gold, BRICS is backed by gold.
Just this makes BRICS more stable.
I don't want an all- digital currency.
Sadly, its the only way the elite can completely control the rest of us. So should it be........Gold is good but its heavy and can't be transacted instantaneously. Digital ledgers and cbdcs and stable coins are already here and will just simply replace paper money that is not backed by squat.
No one with a brain does. 😊
I want both i hear what your thinking
me too with digital currency we are 100% living in dictatorship and they can sezie all of your assets
You have no choice, except maybe move to the moon 😅
They. Bringing gold back! That's a good thing
I’d trust them to hold to that about as much as I’d trust their judicial system to provide me a fair trial. Which, if your unsure what that means, is about how far I could throw a US President. Gold is good, but stay physical and prepare for even that price to be manipulated in the short to medium term.
Russian currency has already been gold backed since 2022. Which is a big deal IMO but the media doesn't talk about coz obviously they don't want us to know.
About time the BRICS currency become the dominant trading currency.
It will be sad and hard on us but I concur.
just in your dreams 😂
Doesn't need to be dominant, just needs to be a competitive alternative
Idk bit coin seems to be gaining more and more traction
If they succeed ,the BRICS might even stop hating each other guts!
It will not be easy. But English pound was replaced too. Nothingnis impossible when one is pushed against
the wall.
This will actually be the seventh time in history that the “world reserve currency” has changed hands, from the Portuguese in 1450 - to the present USA
@@user-sj7fu6es3ythat’s mostly because at the time those were the countries with the most wealth.
I would rather invest in the BRICS currency than the US dollar, given the current turmoil in the world.
US Dollar is unit of "Credit" / Money of account and It is not a "Dollar". Federal reserve Note is not a Dollar either. Get your facts straight. Real Silver Dollar is Money and today Fiction is Debt. It is exactly appositive.. Yes, it does Matter..
have you read about the dollar milkshake theory?
Watch the USD keep moving up to the 2008 highs and maybe farther. King Dollar for now, but it will change, just not now.
East is rising again you know🤷♂️

It has to be gold. Nothing else makes sense.
Bitcoin? Have you not heard?
There's not enough gold in the world to back the entire global economy. It needs to be backed by a basket of commodities (including gold)
@@vannoo67 nope gold can back global economy ..... then gold price will increase dramatically ...

Goodbye US dollar dominance
Currency is not backed by gold unless it's payable in gold on demand at a fixed rate. Any other scheme is not really "backed" they are just lying. Saying it's backed by a "basket of commodities" is just ridiculous and another lie, like when France backed it's currency with land they seized from the church then promptly went into hyperinflation.
The US, rather than attempting to foster trade and cooperation, instead focused on conflict. From Ukraine and Thailand to Georgia and Taiwan Washington is involved in creating unrest. The weaponisation of the dollar is encouraging de-dollarisation and personally I hope it takes place sooner rather than later.
The actual list of conflicts is thicker than a Bible
Not only will it happen sooner than later, the US current administration is overspending more then ever in history to help achieve the crash of the dollar to implement digital money so the ELITES have absolute control over all of humanity. Every human will be given a digital ID at birth and will be tracked and controlled until death. The only way to stop it would be a revolt against the elite but 99.9% of humans are submissive to their governments and have become brainwashed by many distractions.
Most wars starts with the country being poor, and wants to start blaming and attacking other countries.
Thailand?
Bingo
Sanctions are a act of war.
Money backed currency that's tangible is safer. It gives the people more control over their wealth
Kerp stacking if you can....inflation makes it tough to even hecable to do it after i just bought a pound of butter for $5.79. (4 sticks). Bread $3.28. Eggs $3.49 a dozen Milk $3.99 gallon....sure blew a hole in a 20!!!
Very infomative excellent work. Thank you
There will be NO Brics currency. All the BRICS countries will use their own CBDC and the XRP-ledger with XRP will be used as the bridge between each CBDC.
XRP-ledger with XRP and liquidity pools will become the world bridge between every cross-currency / cross-asset transaction be it fiat, crypto, CBDC's, stablecoins and tokenized assets.
Each BRICS country can pay say oil with their own CBDC and XRP will be used to convert it to the currency the recipient wants (f.e. Chinese CBDC). Within 3 seconds and at no cost.
The Central Banks of Russia, China, India and Brasil have been in contact with Ripple for years.
Yes.. quite correct i think.
Hovering over the target my man... 🎯 My exact thoughts.. Ironically, an American private company (Ripple & its XRP Ledger) leveraging the $ dedollarization- one of BRICS' unwritten objectives..
Why do BRICS countries still depend on the $US as an intermediary currency when they can use a faster, cheaper, neutral, more secure & decentralized unified ledger to trade...#DLT #ripple #XRP
@@andyinnes2178You wish.
Sounds like a one currency, one nation world....sounds like the start of the end of times
Nontangible currency is dangerous
Tangible currency is dangerous.
Why? I live in Brazil and I don't have any physical money for like... 3 years+, it's all digital, so what's the problem? Because the bank can block your account? Yeah, like physical money (see USA with Russia) it's exactly the same
@@wellesoncarvalho No, the problem is that they can tax you as much as they want. When prices go up, are prices really going up or is the value of your money going down? Because if they print money so that there is twice as much, your money is worth half as much. That cannot be done by a gold back currency. Tangible doesn't really mean physical or virtual, but whether or not it's backed by real assets or just sentiment.
Excited to hear this news - thank you 😊
This sounds sensible. The gold standard will unfortunately break other countries who live on extended credit
Like the USA
I love the narrative that the USA and other countries that are westernized will be broken but yet all nations will suffer due to a digital currency. It is my belief that this is not about governments but about the ELITES and they're master plan to control all humans beneath their wealth. You see, ELITES, do not submit to one government like 99.9% of humans. They own the governments. They can live in any country they wish.
US debt to gdp ratio is at 129% ranking 9th.
Im interested to see how Japan and Singapore will react or how they will be affrcted being ranked 1 and ranked 5 respectively in Debt to GDP ratio.
First comment! I’m all for BRICS
"The BRICS alliance 🌐 is actively pursuing 'go-it-alone' strategies to reduce dependence on the dollar. 🌟
This involves establishing new institutions or market mechanisms independent of the dollar. 💰💥
The trend of emerging de-dollarization has demonstrated its effectiveness. 💼
For countries like Algeria,Venezuela, Iran,Zimbabwe and many others, de-dollarization isn't a choice; it's a response to the dollar being wielded as a geopolitical tool. 💰💥
In the end, BRICS presents a way forward for secure, dynamic, and affordable economic cooperation, as well as sustainable development🌱🚀
This could contribute to the establishment of a more tranquil and harmonious global community.👨👨👧🕊
The question one should ask, why was the BRICS Group formed in the first place! The BRICS will do in what the BRICS plans to do.
to counter US and westren political bullying and sanctions
And to have an honest money system
Leveraged. Cutting edge of
dominant economy due to sanction has changed.
Now the time to change, political, economic powers from west to east.❤❤❤😂
We are tired of west
From one colonizers to a new one is not something I'm excited about especially thst it includes China. They don't help you for nothing, they will end up owning our country bcos of not being able to pay. No freee lunch here.

Most will be shocked at how fast the dollar devalues 😉 great show brother 👍
It will be good but it has to be balanced and adopted by all the Brics countries like the euro has been adopted by eu members. It will bring unprecedented economic boom as prices between brics members will be more transparent.
UAE recently accepted Indian Rupees for oil
Really? According to many other sources, India rupees are not respected until the gold in India shows transparency.
Rupee is Rup-poop
@@donkeykong516at least you have some sort of liquidity unlike toilet papers😂
We should turn back to an old age. Old is Gold. So the best option is Gold as Reserve currency.
Congratulations, BRICS!!! ❤❤❤❤
What about gold backed Zimbabwe’s gold-backed currency named ZiG?
That's why its multipolar. It means many alternatives.
ZIMBABWE IS A FAILED ECONOMY. WOW they have a $10 trillion dollar note…well that’s great but the people can’t even buy bread with it. That nation has tried to reset its currency and economy 7 times now and it has failed. They printed their currency into extinction. SO WHERE THE HELL ARE THOSE PEOPLE GETTING CURRENCY TO BUY GOLD AT $2400US per ounce? Where exactly if they can’t even use their own dollar. This gold backed crap needs to stop. Governments and banks will NEVER EVER go back to a retail ‘Gold Standard’ ever.
Just go out out and purchase some physical gold and silver for yourself. WHY IS ANYONE WAITING FOR GOVERNMENTS TO BACK A CURRENCY WITH GOLD????? Like seriously people need to understand the mechanism of precious metals. They are MONEY, wealth storage across space and time.
Zimbabwe isn’t reliable because anyone can topple Zimbabwe government anytime & Zimbabwe doesn’t have scale
Zimbabwe has only 2.6 matric ton of gold. Mostly 196 million US dollar's worth. Not much backing if you ask me.
Oh "blockchain" technology. So like a centralized crypto? It leaves my head scratching a bit.
Our unique RENMINBI ravencoin token has entered the chat.
21 billions reissuable ready tokens.
Blockchain is nothing but a ledger. It's a ledger that builds new nodes with built-in assertions about the prior node, hence the "chain". Every node points backwards in a provable chain leading to the very first node. *HOW* new nodes are generated and that chain proven is entirely up to the implementing system. Bitcoin and other decentralized technologies use proof of work or proof of stake and consensus to generate and admit new nodes in a decentralized fashion. But a blockchain could instead have a centralized, approved group of new node submitters, which have to do nothing more than sign the new node with a cryptographic private key. That would still be a blockchain, but a centralized, non-anonymous version.
A complicated topic simply presented -- well done, Sir!
It's not an actual currency, it's a payment system similar to SWIFT.
There is a BRICS-Pay already in place.
But the transactional system SHOULD be in place by the end of the year.
Russia, China, and several other countries have had a SWIFT-like system in place for a number of years.
Increasing countries are already dumping the $ USD and trading in local currencies.
I believe IRAQ and Indonesia have announced dumping the $ USD.
Nearly 100 %of the trade between Russia and China is with the Chinese RMB.
CHINA has a number of Swap Lines with countries around the world including Argentina for example.
These transactions are in CHINESE RMB.
And China has been taking over IMF debt loans in Africa with better terms, in some instances forgiving the debt, all in CHINESE RMB.
The U.S. Russian sanctions and stealing (illegal by international law) on their Sovereign Bank assets accelerated de-dollarization.
The U.S./EU push to now steal these and Blinkin's Chinese threats on their banks will GUARANTEE accelerated de-dollarization.
The Fed's refusal to drop interest rates is hurting the currencies in emerging markets. Japan's economy is nearly collapsed.
If things get bad expert China to dump more U.S. Treasuries at a more rapid rate before they are seized.
Note that with the stolen Russian assets the U.S. also froze RUSSIAN CITIZENS Assets, as low of an immoral action as a country can get.
With a new round of bank closures upon us, stagflation evolving, increasing debt,.plan for the U.S. to default within 3-5 years.
We have the worst leadership since at least WWII and with a Kinetic war looming with China which we WILL LOSE, LIKE RUSSIA, some experts predict a depression far worse than the Great Depression, or to extreme a Nuclear Armageddon started by the U.S.
...and This is the Way...
Afghanistan's reserve is also stolen ..
🎯🎯🙌🙌🏆🏆
Well said, very well said
As a side note, there is something to remember which many will take offense to. That's okay, I'm a big boy and truth shouldn't ever be overloked. This one truth is like a Pink Floyd song ...another brick in the wall. It was Trump in 2020 who lifted the the rules of banks to hold a 10%, 5% reserve or whatever amount it was that banks had to hold. It was shortly after the election in 2016 that I understood Trump was like rearrainging the chairs on the Titanic. Business as usual from the DC establishment.
Yes, China is poised to take over. The US dollar is very popular because the US is the most liquid asset market in the world, there is a lot of safety in investing there. Citizens of all countries invest there. Then you have China where the CCP has been targeting foreign owned assets, their asset markets are awful, and definitly the worst of all, the Chinese Banking system is very fragile, way overleveradge. The only the CCP keeps it in controlas is with Severe Capital Control which is the exact oposite of what a foreign citizen wants. If such controls where dropped billions of Chinese assets would start leaving China(it is just the way it is they have huge foreign surpluses and not enough assets in China that is why their Housing market was a typical but rather massive asset bubble).
When China loans you money or pay your debt or build a project for you, you should really really be worried. There is one China want more than anything bcos they don't have enough sand cant buy or built it:LAND. they are over over populated. Dumping one colonizers for a new one is not a great idea. There is no free lunch.
Physical gold not the us’s paper gold
No currency crypto or otherwise is nor will be backed by Gold. BRICS or otherwise. Why? Because there is not enough gold above ground to cover the volume of currency needed. Why do you think USA was taken off the gold standard in 1973
bcz gold cannot be printed endlessly. usa wants endless printing
It can. But the prices of gold will explode and no one would use gold for making jewelry and stuff because it’s better to convert gold to currency. In other words transforming gold to something similar to US dollars.
@@friendlyreminder3280 what about computers? that seems like a bad idea... gold is important in some electronic components.

Congratulations BRICS + countries
Investing in gold seems like a good move, especially with the current market uncertainty.
Indian is playing between the BRICS and the West but sooner or later Indian will choose one or the other period.
I heard there new digital currency for BRICs is starting out mainly towards Corporation transactions at this point.
Unlike the EURO, BRICS onece launched is going to spread fast far and wide in a few days if it back by gold.
I feel like Brics currency doesn’t make sense since unlike countries like the EU countries are next to each other and make a lot of trade together and just geographically and culturally are together while BRICS countries are very different
Just because members aren't close enough doesn't make sense to be in alliance? You don't have to be close to support one ideology or to trade with each other in 21st century. Key members Russia borders China which borders India and all of them has long established relationships.
I can see how BRICS+ with much more countries can become culturally diverse, but only time will tell
Thank you for talking about this. Because I would not here anything about this any place else.
Why would any nation want "common people" to benefit in any way regarding anything when they are only meant to be functioning prisoners kept numb on addictions to entertainment, gambling, drugs, junk food, etc.
I'm glad I vaulted Gold with the dollars that were in the bank:)

very great synopsis.
It is time of real trade not fake one,not stealing, conquering one.
Even if they back the new currency with gold initially, you know they will inevitably decouple it at some point and inflation will run rampant. It's an old con that they have been using for hundreds, if not thousands, of years (devaluing the currency).
This is a solid video. Good info for folks that want the basics on BRICS.
Nice, simple explanation of what's going on.
interesting development
Excellent video. Thank you.
People should be focusing on this development.
nah, BRICS promote currency to currency exchange, bypassing USDollar. The current financial system, all currency is exchanged, traded, and transferred into USDollar, therefore with this new system, US gov can no longer coerced any nations using their global banking system. BRICS will never promote new currency as it has risk to be toppled. But if you promote a system where currency can be exchanged straight to other currency with mutual trust, then it's impossible to be breached.
Who would have thought, people dont like being bullied...
Greetings and GoldBrics galore!!😁
I am just happy that other nations would put their assets into the BRICS digital currency to help the yusn currency, people in mainland china are hungry right now. Should we feed their people first then think about the BRICS digital currency later???? If you are an elite forget about my words now. It is futile for you to think about it.

BRICKS is the upcoming Powerhouse of exchange and transaction rates nations. The Dollar 💵 is about to fall down as many countries would want to join forces. Sanctions and threats are major contributions towards nations wanting out of Dollar Exchange. Hence, the Dollar will be crippled soon and it will never recover
Well done.
For the BRICS to have a currency that will somehow compete with the U.S. Dollar, the BRICS nations will have to have an output of goods and services exceeding that of nations using the U.S. Dollar. As of now, Russia is run by a gremlin and organized crime syndicate, all they posses are commodity exports and those are in peril due to a rapidly collapsing infrastructure. The rest of the BRICS are in no way independent of the United States as they are dependent on American technology and experts to keep their own economies running, as is Russia. I am an American and I can speak basic Russian. I know that Russia has a lot of potential but improvement is impossible under the current political reality. The old soviet technological economy of Russia is gone. Having a lot of gold will mean nothing when every facet of an advanced economy must be imported(think transformers, switches, pumps, turbines, microprocessors, etc etc) . I can't believe I have to explain these things.

people don't talk about how big the ornament accessory market truly is. sentimental , cultural , many dimensions of value ON TOP OF THAT PEOPLE TEND TO SAVE GOLD.
What currency is gold valued in?
Oil is important but not the future. Electric vehicles sales have over a 50% market share in China. Oil producers will need to find a new source of revenue.
Unified currency should be backed by a basket of commodities like: Gold, wheat, rice, produce, metals, Oil...
Any currency not physical in form and not universally valuable is not secure. It is wealth of mind and spirit which we need the most.
I’m fine with it after I secure my assets and diversify and protected from decline of US dollar then I’m totally ok with it
You haven’t a clue. All speculation.
The fact that its planned to be digital (aka fully tracable) instead of physical is bad news. Pushback against CBDCs of any kind is crucial!
People should talk in terms of de Valuing USD , not dethroning , as the Usd is just too big, as is the US economy. and the biggest threat to USD is currently the US Debt buy far at the moment.
With Quantum computing and its security cracking capabilities, I am not sure any economy should be depending on blockchain.
The world needs to reset how value each country natural resources, so each country knows what It is worth. Then limit what each country can borrow against it's resources. Where does the money comes from that the IMF and World bank comes from to lend countries in financial difficulties. I'm not an economist.
The is printed so much currency that it can’t possibly be backed by gold. There just isn’t enough
not enough for US of course. thats why US will collapse, printing money like crazy.
