Fiorenza Cossotto ha una voce potente, più che da mezzo soprano, fiati interminabili, interpretazione travolgente, "fisique du rôle" , immedesimazione nel personaggio!!! Nessuna ancora l'ha uguagliata in AMNERIS, AZUCENA, e tante altre......
Their technique of singing allowed them to grow into such great proponents of these roles, and many others. Today, singers spread their voices and don't know how to keep the strong focus of their sound, and burn out quickly and sound stressed and old.

@@KajiVocals i've always thought she sounded her best the higher she went. Too bad she started flatting her top notes very early. It always made you wonder whether she was going to make it to the B-flat or not (or even an A)
Cossotto davvero splendida, voce tostissima e personaggio che emerge ed emoziona. Corelli vocalmente non al suo top e il fraseggio, monotono, ne risente. Ovviamente oggi è del tutto impensabile ascoltare due voci come queste.
Perché oggi nei teatri non si fanno prove, non si impara, bisogna arrivare già pronti. Comunque si sente molto il passaggio dal misto alla testa. Oggi non si canta più così forte, non ti prendono se canti con questa grinta. Oggi si è più stilisti.

It’s because she was a natural soprano. She was classified as a soprano by her teacher. She even sang Abigaille in Nabucco.
