This is the best set of instructions I have come across. I think you forgot to mention for every last page extra information entered the person has to sign the page? I came across that on the USCIS website. where you enter the extra addresses, husband and wives, jobs 😁

at 3:42 you're giving a wrong information. if you answered "NO" in item 11 (meaning your physical address is NOT the same as your physical address), then you DO need to fill up Item 12a to 13b. Otherwise, if you answered YES, you do NOT need to fill up any of those items, including 13a and 13b. The part about 13a and 13b is confusing though, as USCIS form i-130 doesn't say anything about it in case you answered YES at item 11. It would make sense they asked you to fill them up, but they seem to ask you fill those 2 items only if you answered NO for item 11...

I am filing the I-130 online and where it asks "Where did you and your spouse last live together?" we live together abroad in Colombia. I put the current address we are at, but it said I shouldnt leave the "to date" blank...the grammar of the question is all in the past. So we shouldnt put our previous address we lived at? Also, it seems to me that the form itself is corrupted. I review the entire form every time I open it and on my current mailing address it has now twice removed the country. Further, it has also removed my wife's country of address outside of the US twice now as well. Seems to me that UCSIC purposely tries to create problems with this form to slow or deny proposals? That is very disturbing to me.

Great Video! If the beneficiary is currently on an H1b, but ORIGINALLY arrived 8 years ago on an F-1 as a student, What I-94 number and status is recorded on the I-130? The most recent? or the very first one? (The first I-94 would be difficult to find).
My thoughts were to put the most recent, then in additional information mention that initial arrival was F-1.

But the question there is the opposite. It says "Is your current mailing address the SAME as your physical address?".
So, I believe there was some confusion when you were explaining there, correct?

I have a question. Is there a form other than an I-130 that you can use to have parents be able to come and go into the USA to visit? Which visa would it be? My spouse is a citizen however his parents are over 60 and would have no intentions of moving or living in the USA. That is why we are exploring other options besides the i130 for the whole 6 month rule that they have for green card holders. Thank you!

Hi: I'm in the process to apply for my Mother with form i-130 and i-485 concurrent filing. She currently has B1/B2 Visit visa and she came to visit me here now in the USA. So I just applied for her i-130 online last week and I'm preparing her i-485 documents to mail this week. But for some personal reason my Mother needs to go back to her home country for a few months.
    So my question is:
    1. What will happen to her i-130 application I just did online and what other consequences will happen if she goes back now and comes back after a few months?
    2. Will she have any issue re-enter in the USA after a few months since I have applied for her i-130?
    3. Should I wait to file i-485 until she comes back to the USA?
Your help will be highly appreciated.

Jacob: Dear Sir: Question: I am trying to locate my parents' marriage license to prove (probate) a will regarding a real estate property. Would a lawyer/attorney in NY help with this? Or would I have to dredge this by way of the city clerk's office?

Hi Jacob! LOVE this video! It was so so helpful! I have a few questions regarding the beneficiary section.
Q10 asks has anyone filed a petition for the beneficiary, and I'm not sure if that's just in regards to the I130 or for other visas and paperwork in the US?
Q46a. Would that be the very FIRST class of admission you arrived on (I've been here for 10 years and changed status from F1 to O1
Q46c. Would this be the very first day of first arrival?
Q48. Is travel document number the same thing as passport number or the number on the O1?
I've been searching everywhere for these answers!
Your help would be sincerely appreciated! Thank you!

Question- My husband who is the one petitioning grew up with only his mother. On the birth certificate she is the only one on it. However, the father is alive, but not on records. Do you just leave Fathers information blank? or can you add his stepfather information because thats who he calls "Dad." and the one that also signed on our marriage certificate.

Just incase one makes a mistake what happens? The question about where the application of change of status will be applied ( part 4, question 61a and b) We wrote the address that we sent the package to rather than our city and state. We had it as our city and state then changed it after not being sure. What will happen to the application after? please let me know if you have any idea. We sent the packet with 485, 765 and 131 together. Thank you in advance.

So, my question is do i have to submit one application for my mom, one for my dad, one application for my sister and one for my sisters husband? Also, do I need to file an application for her baby later in the future? Currently she does not have a baby. I appreciate your help. Thanks

The last time my wife was in the U.S she was 6 years old. Her and her family had "BORDER CROSSING" cards. Their cards expired and never came back to the U.S. Luckily her mom still has that card. Would that go anywhere in section PART 4. 45-52? Im confused wether any info an her crossing card would go in this section.

Part 5 - what if you applied for a K1 visa over 15 years ago. It asks for the filing place and date. Is it where you were living and therefore mailed it from? And as for the date, what if you can't remember?

Hi there, thank you for this wonderful video! Definitely helpful. A general question I’ve been trying to seek for a reliable answer for a long time, hoping you could help. For form I130: petitioner is petitioning for parents and parents have a dependent child under 21 years old. Must the dependent child under 21 have a separate i130 application form OR should the child be listed as a dependent under the parent’s application without filling a separate application for the child? Thank you so much.
