That graphics card release button is such a good idea. I've nearly torn the socket off the motherboard getting the graphics card out because the tab was so hard to get to.
5:39 if only the plumbing were hidden too. Thanks for showing us all the new cool stuff. I hope you all take a day or two to relax and enjoy Taiwan before heading home. You deserve it.
Really liked the CAMM2 on the project zero board. The AIO solution on the GPUs might be next best solution for cooling. If only they can slim it down some. Oh. CUDIMM would be great on ITX boards.
Yeah. CAMM2 was a Dell proprietary solution mostly aimed towards laptops but they released for the market to use. I'll more than likely replace RAM with time.
imagine if the place the sticks on the back of the board instead for minimal distance between the cpu socket and the dimm slots. Modern cases have a cut out on the mother board tray so why not. If they really want to save space in the z axis (mins z axis as the ram sticks would proturde from the backside of the board) they could have a so-dimm ram mechanism in that case.
Cooling. The CPU releases heat behind it, it would affect your CPU and RAM performance. Covering it with a CAMM2 you'd likely see an increase for 10+ degrees C.
@@georgejones5019 yeah I know what u are saying, but cooling could be dealt with, there is so much room if u look at the modern cases like lian li dynamics cases for instance.
@@Pillokun You've have to have dual chamber set up for sure and plenty of air to both sides. But that would really narrow down the build concept and market. So it'd be really expensive. I think CAMM2 on project zero boards are one of the best ideas I've seen so far.
I do hope we get more MSI X870 boards specially a refresh of the carbon but also an AM5 version of that white PCB board plz I want to rock those in my future system
Excited to see what the 7th gen NPU brings to phone performance. MediaTek is upping the game! I think the computex with the mediatek development is great in terms of the AI enhancement and the chipsets.
@@KitGuruTech I’ve personally had good luck with their boards. And although I’ve been lucky enough to not have to RMA any components in the last decade, I did get a faulty gigabyte board that I returned. While I completely understand that dead and faulty boards happen. I’m concerned about the RMA/Warranty process for Asus, which was my go to mobo manufacturer. As for why not gigabyte, I have an Aorus Elite AX with a 5900x, which runs great but the bios gui for setting up fans is bad, and I can’t find a way to set the LED on the board to a different color(without the soft ware in windows). I had an MSI board in the build initially, but kept heard about who the Aorus had a better vrm, so I swapped the boards. Totally regretted doing that. I like MSI’s styling for most of their boards more than the gigabyte lineup. Plus the MSI board I had in there came with 7 fan headers vs the 5 in the Aorus, which was an immediate issue when I swapped the boards and was a header short. Thanks for the Computex coverage!
And that my friends is what happens when you try to come into a space as if you are Linus and can do no wrong like you own the place! Knocking shite over!
Should boycott MSI because they released a monitor with actual cheat. Already major problem in FPS games with cheaters. MSI if you reading this wouldnt be smarter to use that AI on your new monitor to scan for cheats and then turn the monitor off if it detects it? Create a new anti cheat standard that others could follow? Cheaters cant upgrade to new hardware because it will work against it.
CORRECTION: at 12:20 the mouse shown is the VERSA PRO, not the GM51 WIRELESS

Yeah we all have at one point. Nice to see them thinking of solutions.
That MAG X870 Tomahawk board sure is nice looking. Solid.
I love it. Looks like a good upgrade over the previous gen

Really like that Z790 project zero plus. So is CAMM2 a new way to doing RAM?
What about CUDIMM?

great video man, looking forward to those arrow lake intel boards!!!
That gpu looks really impressive but I agree with Dominic. Surely that cooler implementation is for 5090.
Time will tell
Thank you KitGuru ❤❤❤
Anytime !
was the any MSI MPG X870E CARBON WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard there at Computex
I do hope we get more MSI X870 boards specially a refresh of the carbon but also an AM5 version of that white PCB board plz I want to rock those in my future system
I have an older tomahawk board. It’s not as high a level as this one. Seems a good move forward overall.
What board have you got ?
wow awesome GPUs - those are obviously not for mainstream release I assume !
Great looking products on show from this one. 😮
Glad you enjoyed it
*HATE* the yellow on the Tomahawk card. Hard pass on my new build board. Will have to wait n see what the Edge boards look like.
How hard it is to give us a full black or black and Grey board?
Agreed
Wow they have went all out on that one. !! And oh dear felt a bit sorry for Dominic at the end breaking that award 😮😮
At least no one was hurt.
Can anyone advice me on a new Z790 board or should I wait?
1 pregunta.. he visto vuestro videos pero no e visto a la casa de COUGARS por ejemplo no se presentó este año a la compute 2024

Wow that’s some show they put on. Massive.
Was a big event for sure
Love the motherboards x870.
Did Deepcool not have a stand?
I like the motherboards very nicely thought out
The new tomahawk looks like a big step forward for MSI
Love the products!
Glad you like them!
I need a new system, still trying to work out the parts I need
I like the pro, might get that one. It’s down to MSI and Asrock for me, not interested in dealing with any of the other brands.
Why ?

I do like a Tomahawk board everything you need without fancy bells and whistles driving the price up.
MSI Project 0 get back to me when you have this for AM5......will not be do a new machine till that happens.
Like the gpu release button. I am all for small yet useful improvements
A few people have mentioned that
Project Zero PC looks amazingly well done
Yes it’s long overdue
White monitor nice👍
I love it
Who is their partner for the AiO coolers ?
We will check into that if we get some to review
I have to say I don't care for the new yellow lettering on the Tomahawk board.
msi is on fire this year!!!
Was a good stand showing
Is that right ? M2 SSD slots on the GPUs? what the f
It’s like a storage option
When are MSI going to overhaul Mystic lighting? It feels so outdated compared to other RGB softwares
And that my friends is what happens when you try to come into a space as if you are Linus and can do no wrong like you own the place! Knocking shite over!
You've broken it, Dom 😂
Yes. We need to send something to tech testers as an apology now !
Poor Dominic 😂
Oh well. Oops
Amazing but motherboards now have designers who deal with aesthetics rather than function.
That new tomahawk board with the yellow lettering is ugly. Why change such a good design for something so bad looking? That use to be my board.
poor Dominic that was quite embarassing!
Came so close to smashing their bit of crystal. Brilliant 🤣
Whats with all the AI in all the videos
First, yeahhh!!
Leo and Dominic must be tired
AI signs in all the videos, its everywhere
It’s hard to avoid
AI is taking over the world
mb
very tiring shows these
AI is everywhere, getting on my nerves
signing things, who cares... those signatures ruin the products in my opinion. No one cares about their stupid signature
They seemed to sign quite a lot. Wonder if any will make it to eBay 🫢

No...
It's not the only monitor with the feature. Best to save boycotting for real problems. Like ASUS not honoring warranty.
Roflmao no
It doesn't do anything useful and it's distracting. Monitors have to look good, not have useless software/hardware features.
Can anyone advice me on a new Z790 board or should I wait?

Did Deepcool not have a stand?
We visited their factory instead.
