I appreciate you have many more important things to do than make these lovely videos but, I miss you old friend. There is something in your land that stirs something in my soul and I need it! May your God be with you.
Thank you, always looking forward to your comments. Yesterday I received a new Saskatraz queen for a hive that had swarmed leaving behind a bunch young bees and brood but no queen. And I remember thinking Phil would enjoy this. I did catch the swarm as well and it is growing rapidly. Best to you friend.
@@lifebehindacow5999 So pleased to hear from you and especially about your bees. It has never been more important in my opinion to look after the bees, there are so few wild ones remaining. Here in France they have suffered predation from the Frelon, ( Asiatic Hornets) and the very cold wet spring. Recent research in Germany has revealed what Old beekeepers like myself have always known, bees DO have intelligence, it is not just imprinting. I hope to be spared for your Harvest and look forward to it, the crops seem very good and healthy. May your God be with you and thank you for your reply.
It's easy to believe bees are intelligent especially after watching the hives this last year. We do have a very good population of wild bees here and I wonder what affect my honey bees will have on them. The wild flowers are plentiful but as yet I don't know how much nectar flow they can produce. There does seem to be more than adequate pollen. Hopefully I can plant a half acre of buckwheat this next weak to enhance the nectar flow. My bees are still in the comb building process and haven't done much with their supers yet. Still feeding a lot of sugar syrup hoping to speed the comb building.
We have had a terrible winter here in France, Vines decimated by frost, cold and wet meant the bees did not pollinate the soft fruit, no cherries or plums this year, it is just heart warming to see you videos and to see that elsewhere things are going better. The sight of dust behind the drill is amazing, here it is still raining! Liked the words your Nephews found, they are meaningful for any faith.
Wow that's unfortunate. Love the plums. We have been very dry since January and no measurable rain in May. The dry season is upon us so not likely to see much additional precipitation between now and October. Could be an interesting year.
Thank you it's a different part of the country for sure. I feel the same way about your area and the type of farming you do. We live in a beautiful world and it's nice to have away to share it.
Hey thanks for watching. We are I hope a month and a half out yet on harvest but it is scary dry here so it may come earlier. Best of luck with the wheat. I'll be looking forward to seeing your progress.
Nice planter!! I like it! Except for the wheels falling off. But they say 💩 happens. Some day, in a different place.. maybe a I'll have one? Great drone footage!! thank you,!
It does work well. I understand the wheel problem has been fixed on the newer drills. It's hard to plan for everything and there is a lot of weight shifting sideways on the hills with all the liquid tanks full. This is a custom operators drill and even though I don't think it's all that old in years you can definitely see it's been over the acres. Still if they left it in the yard a forgot where it was I wouldn't complain. 😁😎

thanks for the update. I love your way of putting things like ''... in years like this one where it forgot to rain.....''.
Thank you and thanks for dropping by.
Loved the video, thanks, and here's hoping we all get rain soon.
Thank you, we are going to cut some hay and see if we can bring on a rain. 😎

Thank you, we are doing well. Hope things are good with you also.
Your country/films are fascinating to me. Can't say that I would want to live there ;), but it is truly beautiful in a stark way!

Thanks Marsha, Hope this feels a little like home.
Your topography is fascinating. Hopefully you're on your way to a good crop.
Thanks Pete, we are working through the driest spring I can remember but the winter wheat still has some potential. Best of luck to you as well.
I made it!!! Now to watch some of the most beautiful hill ground in the world 👍😁
Amazing country! I hope to be combining Winter Wheat in about 2 weeks.

Nothing is bullet proof..
Probably a good design for flat ground
