Yeah, it's definitely gotten way better over time and this last batch of optimizations have been really cool especially. Hoping to catch you run again some time though!
Apart from your mega skill, just wanna say this is such a good game. Every time i get suggested one of your videos and i see the thumbnail, i immediately feel a cozy feeling that makes me wanna play Morrowind.
Question: how did you overcome the Mortal Wound with only 47 HP? If I remember correctly, the Mortal Wound drain your heath very 25-125 per second. So if the RNG drains more than 47 from you at one of those seconds, wouldn't you instantly gameover?
@@IceGuye you just need to survive one tick of the mortal wound if done properly. I actually have 97 HP when the tick lands: 47 base health + 20 from Berserk + 30 from Keening. I'm pretty sure the ticks of damage do a random amount from 50-125 so yeah it's basically up to RNG whether you live or not. You could quicksave right before you attack the heart and load if you die, but the chance of living is decently solid. For a short run like this that otherwise doesn't really rely on RNG it's not too hard to get the ideal scenario.
@@volvulusx5043 So I watched carefully again. You hit it with Sunder (with no tick), then switch to Keening, hit it 5 times (within 1 tick), then immediately switch back to the axe. Right? Wow, It's very intense! I tested the tapping speed for a dagger (speed 2.5), on my PC, it hits 28 times per 10 secs. So it means that in the first second, you will hit it 3 times, then it ticks, then you need to land another 2 times and immediately change weapon...
@@IceGuye pretty much, you have to do instant attacks and change weapons quickly. I believe there is a buffer for switching weapons as you are attacking so it's a little lenient (could be wrong about this). You could also use the menu to change weapons, but it loses time in a speedrun
Wow, I've not been following Morrowind speedrunning for a while, I can't believe NMG is this quick! Very cool.

Always pushing the boundary of this game. Godspeed Volvulus

Thanks, as a wise man once said, "Morrowind is pretty cool"

The king
Dagoth Ur's reaction sounded genuine lol. How can you kill a go-NO STOP WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Azura picked the right man for the job, got damn
Awesome run!
Holy shit what a run! You nailed everything
That's wild!
damn good shit
Great job!
god i love having notifications on for this channel always so cool to see you hit it out of the park with this game
That was insane, thank you
But But But how is Caius going to maintain his crippling --ack --caine fix without you?!
Great run
Question: what allows you to equip and use tsunder and keening without wraithguard?
you can always do that, you just need to be able to survive the damage

Now that someone has claimed the glitched any%, are you feeling the itch to shave off another second?
It's definitely some motivation, maybe in the future I'll grind again but idk when
Dagoth Vemyn was much harder for me, can't even kill him with 10 heavy hits in time
It's probably because this is on -100 difficulty.
Orc
Dude, you have to read the lore. This is a very lorish game.
I mean, I've read bits here and there, i'm just not an expert who can recite tons of things by memory
